During the November 8 episode of SmackDown, WWE made a significant announcement for the women’s division by introducing a new Women’s United States Title. WWE has not yet revealed the process for determining the first champion, but the announcement has sparked calls for RAW’s women’s division to gain a secondary title as well.
Rumors are now circulating in the Internet Wrestling Community about WWE possibly introducing a Women’s Intercontinental Title on RAW. With the November 11 episode already pre-taped, fans have been eagerly waiting to see if this rumored title will make an appearance.
Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that as of an hour before the November 11 show, the women on the roster had not been informed about a new title on RAW. This suggests that a Women’s IC Title may not be part of this week’s episode, despite ongoing speculation.
WWE also pre-taped the following week’s RAW, so any potential title reveal would now be expected during the November 18 episode. While fans hope for WWE to add a new title to balance the divisions, there’s no confirmation of when or if this will happen.
With SmackDown and RAW both moving to three-hour formats in 2025, there will be more time available for additional titles and segments in the women’s division. As of this writing, there is no sign of a Women’s Intercontinental Title on RAW.
