The May 24 episode of Friday Night SmackDown was the go-home edition of the show before the King and Queen of The Ring premium live event and it featured Nia Jax advancing to the finals of the Queen of The Ring tournament and now Lyra Valkyria has commented on her upcoming opponent.
Lyra Valkyria attended the May 24 episode of WWE SmackDown, where she witnessed Nia Jax defeat Bianca Belair to secure a spot in the Queen of the Ring finals. Valkyria will now face Jax in the finals at WWE King and Queen of the Ring.
In a SmackDown Exclusive interview, Lyra Valkyria shared her thoughts on Nia Jax advancing to the finals. Valkyria made it clear she thrives under pressure and is confident she can take down The Irresistible Force.
“I realized I’ve never been in the ring with someone as big or strong as Nia Jax. The stakes have just been raised. We’re competing for a chance to go to SummerSlam for a championship match and to be crowned Queen of the Ring. If there’s one thing I know about myself, it’s that I thrive under high stakes and intense pressure. I’ve got a lot of momentum right now, having just beaten a former WWE Women’s Champion. I believe I can take her.”
We will have to wait and see who will ultimately triumph and get a shot at a Women’s title of their choosing, as Lyra Valkyria definitely has her work cut out for her against Nia Jax.
