As WWE gears up for the highly anticipated King and Queen of The Ring premium live event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on May 25th, we are now at the final pit stop as the King of The Ring semifinals took place during SmackDown this week.

The May 24th edition of Friday Night SmackDown took place at the Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and it featured the King of the Ring tournament semifinal match between Randy Orton and Tama Tonga.

Both competitors gave it their all in order to come out on top. Tonga managed to show he truly belonged in the main event scene with his offense against The Viper. In the end, Randy Orton clinched the victory and will now be squaring off against Gunther in the finals of the King of The Ring tournament at the King & Queen of The Ring Premium Live Event on May 25th.

We will have to wait and see whether The Apex Predator will be able to defeat The Ring General and earn a shot at Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship, as Triple H has already confirmed the winner would be granted World Title shot.
