The EVPs of AEW, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson have been using their powers to their advantage ever since they took out AEW President Tony Khan and formed the New Elite with Kazuchika Okada and Jack Perry.

On tonight’s edition of the show, the current AEW World tag team champions were scheduled to battle Christopher Daniels and Matt Sydal in a tag team Eliminator match after the latter had seen enough of their power struggle antics.

The action went back and forth with The Bucks having Jack Perry at ringside and had the AEW fans glued to their seats. In the end, The Young Bucks connected Daniels with The TK Driver for the win.

Despite picking up the win, Matthew and Nicholas were not done and did another act of abuse of power. In their attempt to clean the toxicity out of the AEW locker, The Bucks fired Christopher Daniels on the spot, ending his 5-year tenure of being an in-ring competitor and behind-the-scenes contributions to AEW, much to the dismay of fans.
