Dana White Reveals WWE Premium Live Events to Take Place on Sundays

In the past couple of years, WWE has undergone significant changes, experiencing substantial growth in its. This hasn’t been more apparent after WWE and UFC’s merger under the TKO umbrella. Interestingly enough, Dana White recently noted that WWE Premium Live Events will be held on Sundays again.

Under the TKO banner, WWE and UFC have been collaborating by hosting events at the same arena over the weekend. UFC typically holds events on Saturdays, while WWE SmackDown airs on Fridays and WWE Raw on Mondays.

However, Dana White hinted at changes to this schedule during the UFC on ESPN: Lewis vs. Nascimento press conference. Dana White noted that WWE Premium Live Events will be held on Sundays again.

“We already have those dates set up right now where Power Slap goes Friday and UFC goes Saturday. You’re going to see Friday, Power Slap, Saturday, UFC, and Sunday, WWE. You’ll start seeing that stuff too.”

Traditionally, WWE runs non-televised live events on Sunday nights, with exceptions like night two of WrestleMania, which has been held on Saturday nights since the pandemic. On top of that, NXT is gearing up to hold a Sunday event at the UFC Apex on June 9, where NXT Battleground will air on Peacock. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see if the Premium Live Events will return to Sundays again.
