The Tonga Twins (Kaoz & Kona) have long been notable figures in Women of Wrestling. Their recent decision to leave the promotion actually made headlines, as they leveled serious accusations against WOW management. This move has sparked further controversy, with allegations surfacing that the twins were involved in an incident resulting in a female talent being sent to the ER.

The Twins were direct in their criticism, condemning the WOW promotion as ‘malevolent’ and accusing it of intruding on their family affairs, while opting not to disclose specific details.

“We will be speaking out soon. But for now, we will leave it here. To all the women who are scared to speak up, we stand for you! You will no longer see us on WOW because we spoke up! You can’t do this to GOOD PEOPLE WHO SACRIFICE THEIR FAMILY!!! So Evil. Mess with us, you mess with our KIDS and family and that’s PERSONAL. Wait on it …”

“Tonga Twins are now free agents!!!!! The marathon continues”

In a twist of events, current WOW talent Simone Williams recently accused the Twins of bullying and injuring WOW wrestlers. Williams claimed that the Twins were fired rather than leaving voluntarily and criticized their behavior as egotistical.

“WOW has many flaws and has had a ton of growing pains with good and bad decisions along the way, but what’s happening right now is NOT RIGHT. The Tonga Twins were LET GO, they did not quit. The Tonga Twins were called out because of their own actions of BULLYING talent, THREATENING talent, and acting off-brand online. All of which is documented and hopefully for their sake doesn’t make it online. Women’s empowerment isn’t about burning a company down and taking everyone’s jobs away from them because you didn’t like being told NO, when just hours before being let go, you’re sending locker room leader motivational speeches in a company-wide group chat. WOW has a long way to go that’s clear, but I’ll be damned if I let the ego of two very well-treated and pushed talent speak on our behalf out of spite.”

Heidi Howitzer, who competed for WOW in 2022 and 2023, supported Simone’s claims and revealed that she herself had been injured by The Tonga Twins. The severity of her injury led her to seek medical attention at the ER, and she subsequently requested her release from the promotion.

”WOW can be criticized for many things, but these women stating they’ll “speak out” for the other girls only received favoritism while bullying and injuring others, the entire time crying “sisterhood.”
I went to the ER due to their negligence and improper training.

I requested my release directly after this incident.

They also bullied a close friend when she was severely injured and spoke up”.

The Tonga twins have already fired back against accusations of bullying and injuring talent. The future plans of the Tonga Twins are uncertain, sparking speculation about potential transition to WWE, but these allegations might just stop that from happening.
