Former WWE superstar Emma Diaz has been very vocal about her career in WWE and the reason why she was released by the company a few days ago. She was among list of stars to get released by the company and performed on WWE’s show on Roku, WWE Next Gen.

While she has been released by the company, Diaz is currently dating WWE NXT Star Lexis King. In recent interview with Ringside News’ Steve Fall, the former WWE star detailed how she was hired by the company in the first place.

The recently released star stated that she was approached by the company which then culminated into an interview followed by her tryouts. Diaz showed improvement in the ring in just three days which motivated the company to get her on board. She was then invited to the Performance Center to access the squared circle and train herself before performing in the ring in front of fans.

“I was a dual sport athlete and WWE just reached out to me and they were like you know we want to get to know you and we want to invite you to a tryy out so I had an interview with them I told them my story um I’m from Miami Florida and my father he actually got on a raft and spent seven days in the ocean coming here from Cuba um so that’s what motivates me and they were honestly really inspired by that story and they invited me to the tryy out and I had no training I was three weeks this was three weeks before the try out I didn’t know what to expect and I went and I worked really hard and I transformed in three days I made a lot of improvement and I think that the coaches saw how much I grew in just three days and they ended up giving me a contract to come to the performance center and you know I worked hard and I did just that and I made a lot of progress in the first year of me being a WWE Superstar and you know now looking back I’m excited to see like how much more I can grow”
