After a successful career in various wrestling promotions, Matt Hardy is now a free agent following the end of his contract with All Elite Wrestling. However, his brother Jeff Hardy remains in AEW at the moment. With that said, Matt Hardy has now revealed retirement plans with Jeff Hardy.

Following his exit from AEW, Matt Hardy has still been in talks with Tony Khan regarding new contract but no deal has been finalized yet. As for Jeff Hardy, he’s still absent from AEW television since his nose injury back in February.

While speaking to ComicBook, Matt Hardy talked about his retirement plans with Jeff Hardy. The current TNA star noted that both he and Jeff Hardy want to end their careers together, the same way they began their careers.

“That would definitely be our goal. It is very important to us to finish how we started. We started as two brothers on this journey. Our goal was to win the tag team titles of the world one time, and obviously we did that many times over. We do want to end that way. We’ve talked, and we’re both very aware of that. We want to end our careers together as a team.”
