After an exciting night in France hosting WWE Backlash 2024, WWE returned to the American waters with another edition of Monday Night Raw. However, this turned out to be one of the most entertaining and action-packed red brand episodes that the WWE Universe has witnessed in months.

The major reason for that was the numerous matches from the King and Queen of the Ring tournament which showcased some massive names. Among those names were also Ilja Dragunov and Lyra Valkyria who won their respective matches and advanced to the second round of the tournament.

While Bron Breakker was also seen backstage confronting Adam Pearce for his absence from the King of the Ring tournament, other NXT stars who were drafted to Raw were missing. Among the absent stars, names like Kiana James and Alba Fyre who were drafted to the red brand as a part of the WWE Draft 2024 were not spotted.

A new update from Fightful Select has revealed that numerous NXT draftees were brought to Raw for the 5/6 edition. However, they were not used which ended up being the reason for their absence.

While WWE didn’t use these stars this week, them getting some TV time next week on Raw is a massive possibility. With the first round of the King and Queen of the Ring tournament ended, a lot of spots seem to be open on the red brand. It would be interesting to see how things play out for these guys in the next few weeks.

Why do you think WWE didn’t use the newest NXT draftees even after bringing them during the 5/6 WWE Raw edition? Let us know in the comments section below.
