Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is a legendary figure in professional wrestling, celebrated for his many accolades and iconic status. He became a cultural phenomenon beyond wrestling, especially after featuring in the popular song ‘Ric Flair Drip.’ Despite the song’s success, it seems Flair didn’t actually get a lot of money from the song.

In 2017, Offset and Metro Boomin released the hit song “Ric Flair Drip,” which quickly became a massive success. The song was inspired by Ric Flair, and for the music video, Offset invited Flair to make an appearance.

While speaking on the JAXXON PODCAST, Ric Flair revealed the significant disparity in earnings between himself and the other parties involved in the song. He stated that he made $39,000 from the collaboration, while the others made $48 million. Flair explained that he didn’t have an agent or a contract to represent his interests in the deal, leading to this ridiculous difference in earnings.

”The damndest story (he said about Ric Flair Drip song). I’d just gotten out of the hospital. I actually had the stoma bag on. I had a stoma for a year when I got out. The bag, right? Attached to my intestine, and I had just gotten out of the hospital. I didn’t have an agent. So, they made $48 million, I made 39 grand. That song went seven-times platinum. I didn’t have a contract with them. Offset said, ‘You wanna do it?’ I said, ‘Yeah’, and I didn’t have an agent because I had no memory for six months after I got out.

Flair also revealed that he legitimately suffered heart attack during his final match. Nonetheless, The Nature Boy missed out on a big payday and there’s nothing he can do about it now.
