The WWE Universe witnessed the official debut of NXT standout Ilja Dragunov on Monday Night RAW after being drafted to the red brand in the WWE Draft 2024,

The Mad Dragon competed against ‘The Highlight of the Night’ Ricochet in the first round of the King of the Ring Tournament on tonight’s edition of RAW, which would culminate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at the event, King and Queen of the Ring.

Ilja Dragunov displayed an excellent showing against the high-flying athleticism of Ricochet who did not take the threat of the former NXT champion too lightly due to his inexperience on the maid roster. The action went both inside and outside the ring with an amazing display of brute strength, technical wrestling, and jaw-dropping moves that had the fans hooked.

However, despite a valiant effort, Ricochet’s amazing in-ring acrobats were not enough to stop Ilja Dragunov. The closing moments of the bout saw Dragunov connect with a thunderous edge bomb fist drop to pin Ricochet’s shoulders to the mat and seal the win.
