Kevin Owens has had a remarkable career in WWE, stepping into the ring with some of the biggest names in the business. Being such a veteran in the business, retirement is always an inevitable thing and even Owens admitted his career is closer to being done than starting.

Kevin Owens has been a staple of the WWE main roster for years, garnering significant success throughout his career. At WrestleMania 39, he reached a major milestone by headlining the first night alongside his longtime best friend, Sami Zayn.

During an interview with Bodyslam.net’s Mark O’Brien ahead of Backlash, Kevin Owens was asked about his goals at this stage in his career. Owens stated that he is primarily focused on enjoying himself and creating memorable moments as he moves toward the latter part of his wrestling journey.

“You know, at this point, I just want to have fun doing what I’m doing and create memorable moments. For everybody that’s watching and really into titles, main events, and all that, it’s nice when it happens and it’s great to experience. But I just want to, you know, try to cherish the moments I have left in this industry. I’m obviously not saying I’m retiring anytime soon, but my career is closer to being done than to starting, so I’m just trying to enjoy the ride.”
