Jinder Mahal Admits He Was Stagnant As A Performer For Two Years After WWE Release

Jinder Mahal, who gained attention earlier this year when he contended for the WWE World Heavyweight Title on RAW, recently made headlines for very different reason. Despite his title match loss, Mahal maintained a prominent role within WWE. However, the unexpected news of his release last week surprised many fans, given his significant presence in recent storylines.

Jinder Mahal’s release was certainly shocking, especially given his prior success as a WWE Champion and his recent resurgence earlier this year. Mahal’s unexpected departure left many fans questioning WWE’s direction, particularly with the company’s focus on international markets and its diverse roster.

The Modern Day Maharaja took to Twitter and uploaded a video, where he revealed he now has a more positive mindset in life in general, admitting that he was stagnant as performer and as a person for two years.

”I’m excited for new opportunities, both in and outside of writing. I get a chance to be myself. Chance to show something new. So overall, this is a positive, for the past two years I’ve been pretty stagnant and not really growing as a person or performer, so I’m viewing this as a positive change.”

Jinder Mahal’s post-WWE name has also been revealed. It remains to be seen if Mahal will end up in AEW or any other major pro wrestling company this year, as Mahal is already receiving lot of interest from pro wrestling promotions already.
