Jinder Mahal Receiving Heavy Interest from Promotions After WWE Release

Jinder Mahal unexpectedly became the talk of the town this year as he was in line for the WWE World Heavyweight Title shot on RAW but lost the match. While he was released last week, it appears Mahal is receiving heavy interest from promotions already.

Jinder Mahal’s release was the most shocking, especially given his prior success as a WWE Champion and his recent resurgence earlier this year. Mahal’s unexpected departure left many fans questioning WWE’s direction, particularly with the company’s focus on international markets and its diverse roster.

While speaking on Fightful Select’s Backstage Report, Sean Ross Sapp noted that Jinder Mahal is already receiving heavy interest from promotions, particularly GCW right now.

”Jinder Mahal has already got heavy interest from companies about coming in, whether it would be independents or whatever. GCW is foaming at the mouth, and they should, especially with Matt Cardona out.”

Jinder Mahal is also focusing on rebuilding himself following his WWE release. It remains to be seen what the future holds for Jinder Mahal, as a run in GCW might be what he truly needs.
