During the April 27 episode of AEW Collision, multiple former WWE talents made their debut appearances in All Elite Wrestling, live from Jacksonville.

Making his first appearance in AEW was Martin Stone, formerly known as Danny Burch in WWE. Stone faced off against RUSH in his return match to the promotion. Burch had previously held the NXT Tag Team Championship alongside Oney Lorcan during their tenure in the brand.

In addition to Stone’s debut, another notable former WWE tag team made their entrance into AEW. Known as ‘The Dyad’ during their time in NXT, James Drake and Zack Gibson, collectively known as The Grizzled Young Veterans (GYV), marked their AEW debut by taking on The Acclaimed.

However, despite the anticipation surrounding their debut, both Stone and the GYV faced defeat in their inaugural matches in AEW.
