The stakes could not have been higher in the women’s division on tonight’s edition of AEW’s newest pay-per-view, Dynasty as AEW TBS Champion Julia Hart defended her title against the incomparable Willow Nightingale.

The duo had been having their run-ins for weeks, additionally, with AEW’s newest signee, Mercedes Mone added to the mix, who had eyes on both of them from backstage during their bout as potential future opponents for her own debut set to take place at AEW’s next pay-per-view, Double or Nothing.

With a money-maker star waiting in the shadows for a one-on-one showdown combined with the AEW TBS championship hanging in the balance, Julia Hart and Willow Nightingale went back and forth against each other in one of the most enthralling bouts of the night.

Both women launched a series of their best attacks, as Willow’s brute strength went up against the technical prowess of Julia Hart. In the end, it was Nightingale who emerged successful in putting down Hart to secure the pinfall and become the new champion.
