AEW Dynasty Zero Hour Pre-Show (4/21/2024):

The AEW Dynasty Zero Hour Pre-Show opens up with a video package for the AEW World Championship Match between AEW World Champion Samoa Joe vs. Swerve Strickland. Renee Paquette and RJ City then welcome us to the show and run down the entire card. Paquette and City then talk about the AEW World Championship Match before discussing the Will Ospreay vs. “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson Match.

Paquette and City then talk about the AEW International Championship Match between AEW International Champion Roderick Strong vs. Kyle O’Reilly as well as the AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada vs. PAC Match for the AEW Continental Championship. We then get a video package for the Chris Jericho vs. FTW Champion HOOK Match for the FTW Title. Paquette and RJ then bring up Max Holloway’s knockout of Justin Gaethje and claim that the FTW Title is the original BMF Title. Paquette and City then talk about the AEW Women’s World Title Match between AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Thunder Rosa.

Paquette and City then run down some more matches and more “road to” countdown-style video packages then air. Paquette and City then send us down to the ringside area, where Excalibur, Taz and Tony Schiavone welcome us to the show and we get the entrances of the first match of the Zero Hour Pre-Show, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Trent Beretta vs. Matt Sydal

The match starts off with Sydal hitting Beretta with a couple of hurricanranas. Sydal then looks to hit Beretta with a kick, but Beretta rolls out of the ring. Sydal then hits Beretta with a dropkick and follows it up with a splash off the apron before both men get back inside the ring. Sydal then hits Beretta with a reverse DDT, but Beretta responds with a Brainbuster and a couple of forearms. Beretta then puts his boot into Sydal’s neck, then hits Sydal with a dropkick that sends Sydal crashing to the outside.

Sydal then ends up back inside the ring and Beretta hits Sydal with a chop. Beretta then hits Sydal with a German suplex before Sydal responds with kicks on Beretta’s thigh. Beretta then looks for another German suplex, but Sydal lands on his feet and hits a kick on Beretta’s jaw. Beretta then blasts Sydal, but Sydal climbs to the top rope and hits Beretta with a meteora. Sydal then puts Beretta on the top rope and looks to hit a second meteora, but Beretta counters into a powerbomb. Beretta then follows it up with a sit-out piledriver and goes for a pin, but Sydal kicks out. Beretta then hits Sydal with a running knee and puts Sydal in the Trent’s Gate and Sydal taps out.

After the match, Beretta lands some right hands on Sydal. Chuck Taylor then makes his way down to the ring to make the save. Beretta then grabs a mic and expresses his frustrations with Taylor for not answering his calls. Beretta then tells Taylor to give him an answer as to whether or not he is with him or against him this coming Wednesday on Dynamite.

“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy’s music then hits for the next match of the Zero Hour Pre-Show and he stares Beretta down on top of the ramp. Katsuyori Shibata and Shane Taylor Promotions’ music then hits next and Anthony Ogogo takes a seat at the commentary desk.

Tag Team Match: “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy and Katsuyori Shibata vs. Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty)

The match starts off with Taylor and Cassidy. Both men take turns putting each other in submission holds before Moriarty tags in and hits Cassidy with a mat return. Moriarty then continues wearing Cassidy down with an arm submission, but Cassidy puts his hands into his pocket. Cassidy then hits Moriarty with an arm drag and a dropkick, then kips up and tags Shibata in. Shibata then nails Moriarty with a couple of uppercuts, then follows it up with a back elbow. Shibata then goes for a pin, but Moriarty kicks out. Shibata and Moriarty then take turns putting each other in submission holds, but Taylor tags in and hits Shibata with an overhand chop. Shibata then hits Taylor with a chop of his own, then exchanges strikes with Taylor. Taylor then runs the ropes, but Shibata nails Taylor with a couple of boots and a series of kicks. Cassidy then tags back in and hits Taylor with an elbow drop off the top rope, then goes for a pin. Taylor kicks out and Moriarty enters the ring. Cassidy then sends Moriarty to the outside and hits him with a tope suicida, then delivers three forearms on Moriarty as Taylor argues with the referee about Cassidy on the outside.

Anthony Ogogo then looks to hit Cassidy, but Shibata nails him with uppercuts to take him down. Taylor then blasts Shibata with a vicious right hand and Moriarty hits Cassidy with an uppercut of his own on the apron. Taylor then hits Cassidy with a leg drop and a chop inside the ring. Moriarty then tags in and delivers a snapmare on Cassidy, then sends Cassidy crashing into the mat. Taylor then tags in and hits Cassidy with a couple of strikes, then looks to deliver a splash, but Cassidy moves out of the way.

Moriarty then tags in and looks to roll Cassidy up, but Cassidy prevents him from doing so and tags Shibata in. Shibata then hits Moriarty with a boot, then follows it up with strikes and a dropkick in the corner. Shibata then puts Moriarty in an Abdominal Stretch, but Taylor breaks the hold. Cassidy then tags in and delivers some chops on Taylor in the corner with Shibata. Cassidy and Shibata then follow it up with stomps and a double dropkick, but Moriarty nails Shibata with a boot. Cassidy then goes for the Beach Break, but Moriarty avoids it. Cassidy then hits Moriarty with a Stun-Dog Millionaire, but Moriarty responds with a Sliced Bread. Cassidy then goes for the Border City Stretch, but Moriarty avoids it. Taylor then hits Cassidy with a headbutt and looks to send him crashing into the mat, but Shibata sneaks up on Taylor and puts him in a Sleeper. Ogogo then looks to interfere, but Shibata nails him with a boot. Moriarty then takes Shibata down and Cassidy rolls him up. Both men then take turns pinning each other before Cassidy hits Moriarty with the Orange Punch for the win.

Commentary then runs down the card for tonight’s PPV and we get a video package for the Will Ospreay vs. “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson Match.

We then get the entrances of the final match of the Zero Hour Pre-Show, which is a Title vs. Title Winner Take All Match.

AEW World Trios Championship and ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship Title vs. Title Winner Take All Match: AEW World Trios Champions The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster) and “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn vs. ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions Bullet Club Gold (“Switchblade” Jay White, Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn)

The match starts off with Bowens and White. White rolls out of the ring and Colten enters the ring to go face-to-face with Bowens. Colten then hits Bowens with a shoulder tackle, but Bowens responds with one of his own. Austin and Billy then tag in and Billy helps Austin up. Billy immediately puts Austin in a side headlock, then hits him with a shoulder tackle and looks to hit him with an arm drag. Austin lands on his feet, but Billy nails him with a forearm shot. Colten then enters the ring, but Billy nails him with a shot of his own. White then captures Billy’s attention and that allows Austin and Colten to blindside him. White then tags in and hits Billy with a couple of chops. Colten then makes the blind tag and nails Billy from behind. Billy stays on his feet and slowly turns around. Colten then hugs Billy, but Billy nails him with a forearm shot. Caster then tags in and hits Colten with a couple of arm drags. Bowens then tags in and hits Colten with a neckbreaker as Caster gets his knees up. Austin then tags in and Caster hits him with a bodyslam. Bowens then hits Scissor Me Timbers on Austin, then tags out to Caster.

Austin then manages to send Caster crashing to the outside, then tags White in. White then sends Caster crashing into the barricade, then hits him with a chop. White then stomps on Caster in the corner, then tags Austin in. Austin then immediately tags back out to White and White nails Caster with more stomps. Austin then hits Caster with a chop, then tags Colten in. Bowens then tags in and nails Austin with a superkick. Bowens then nails White, but Colten dropkicks him from behind. White then tags in and sends Bowens crashing into the ring apron midsection first. White then sends Bowens back inside the ring and pins him, but Bowens kicks out.

Austin then tags in and hits Bowens with a snapmare. Billy then tags in and blasts all three members of Bullet Club Gold with right hands. Billy then sends White and Austin out of the ring, then looks to hit The Famouser on Colten. The Acclaimed then takes down The Gunns. Bullet Club Gold then look to triple team Billy, but The Acclaimed take down both Austin and Colten. White then sends Bowens crashing into the mat, then puts Billy in a submission. Billy then escapes and hits a Famouser on White. White then goes for the Blade Runner, but Billy escapes. White then hits Billy with the Blade Runner for the win.

Commentary then runs down the AEW Dynasty card once more and the Zero Hour Pre-Show comes to a close.

AEW Dynasty Results (4/21/2024):

The main show opens up with a video package hyping up the matches on the card. Excalibur, Taz and Jim Ross then welcomes us to the show and we get the entrances for the first match of the PPV.

AEW Continental Championship Match: The Elite’s “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. “The Bastard” PAC

The match starts off with both men taking turns putting each other in submission holds before PAC hits Okada with a hurricanrana that sends Okada out of the ring. PAC then goes flying over the top rope to land on Okada and sends him back in the ring. PAC then hits Okada with an uppercut in the corner, then climbs to the top rope and hits a superplex. Okada then sends PAC onto the apron, but PAC responds with an enzuigiri and climbs to the top. Okada then dropkicks PAC off the top rope and sends him into the barricade twice, then gets him back in the ring and hits him with a snapmare. PAC then delivers some forearms on Okada, but Okada responds with an uppercut and follows it up with a dropkick. Okada then sends PAC crashing into the floor with a hanging DDT off the barricade and gets back inside the ring as the referee begins the count. PAC then beats the count at nine and Okada hits him with a DDT.

PAC then low bridges Okada out of the ring, then flies off the ropes to land on Okada on the outside. Both men then get his back inside the ring and PAC delivers some shots on Okada. PAC then nails Okada and climbs to the top, then hits Okada with a missile dropkick. PAC then delivers more kicks to Okada and hits Okada with a couple of German suplexes. Okada then hits PAC with a dropkick, then nails him with a shoulder breaker and follows it up with a bodyslam. Okada then climbs to the top rope and hits PAC with an elbow drop, then rallies up the crowd before he flips them off.

Okada then nails PAC with a boot, but PAC responds with a superkick and a clothesline. PAC then hits Okada with a German suplex and climbs to the top rope, then sets up for the Black Arrow. Okada rolls out of the way and hits PAC with a Tombstone, then sets up for The Rainmaker. PAC then counters into a roll-up, but Okada kicks out. PAC then puts Okada in a full body submission, but Okada escapes. PAC then hits Okada with a Tombstone and delivers some stomps on Okada, then climbs to the top. PAC looks for a Black Arrow, but Okada gets his knees up and nails PAC with The Rainmaker for the win.

After the match, Okada makes his way to the back and PAC gets a standing ovation from the fans.

We then get a video package for the feud between The House of Black and the trio of Adam Copeland, Eddie Kingston and Mark Briscoe followed by the entrances of the next match, which is a Trios Match.

Trios Match: TNT Champion “The Rated R Superstar” Adam Copeland, NJPW Strong Champion Eddie Kingston and ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe vs. House Of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King and Buddy Matthews)

The match starts off with Mark Briscoe and Malakai Black. Both men go back and forth and Matthews is tagged in. Matthews looks for a double stomp off the top rope, but Mark avoids it and tags Copeland in. Copeland then delivers some right hands on Matthews in the corner, then follows it up with a flapjack. Black then tags back in, but immediately tags back out to King. Kingston then tags in and exchanges chops with King. Kingston then hits an enzuigiri on King and nails him with several chops, but King responds with a cannonball to Kingston in the corner. Matthews then tags in and Kingston calls for him to hit him with kicks on his spine. Matthews then hits Kingston with a dropkick before Black tags in and Kingston hits him with a chop. Black then responds with a forearm and a couple of kicks, then hits Kingston with a back elbow. Kingston then hits Black with a German suplex, then tags Mark in. Matthews then tags in and Mark hits him with chops. Matthews then delivers some strikes on Mark, but Mark sends him crashing out of the ring and nails him with a dropkick.

King and Kingston then begin brawling as Copeland and Black does the same. Matthews then tosses a chair at Mark, but Mark catches it and sets it up on the apron. Mark then hits a cannonball on King off the chair, then exchanges strikes with Matthews on the other side of the apron and gets him up on his shoulders. Matthews escapes and King then grabs his ankle. King then gets Mark on his shoulders and hits him with a Death Valley Driver into the barricade.

Black and Mark then end up back in the ring and Black hits Mark with a kick to his midsection. King then tags in and hits Mark with a chop, then tags out to Black. Black then puts Mark in an Abdominal Stretch. All 6 men then begin brawling with each other and Copeland hits King with a superplex off the top rope. All 6 men then continues brawling with each other in the ring and Kingston hits King with the Uranage. Copeland then hits King with an elevated flatliner and Mark hits the Froggy Bow. Black then tags in and stares Copeland down. All 6 men then brawl with each other once again and Copeland hits King with a spear. Copeland then looks to hit a second one, but Black spits black mist into Copeland’s face and hits him with The End for the win.

After the match, Copeland writhes in pain as the House of Black celebrates.

Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander then look to make their way down to the ring, but before they do, Nightingale tells Statlander to wait in the back and makes her way down to the ring on her own. Stokely Hathaway then joins the commentary desk and TBS Champion Julia Hart makes her way down to the ring next for the next match, which is the TBS Championship Match.

TBS Championship Match: House Of Black’s Julia Hart (c) vs. Willow Nightingale

The match starts off with Nightingale delivering a boot to Hart. Nightingale then hits Hart with forearm shots, then sends her crashing into the corner and climbs to the top. Hart then superkicks Nightingale out of the ring, then nails her with a kick on her spine and sends her over the barricade and into the timekeeper’s area. Hart then gets Nightingale back inside the ring and sends her head repeatedly crashing into the mat, then puts her knee into the back of Nightingale’s neck. We then see Mercedes Moné watching the action from backstage as Hart continues wearing Nightingale down. Hart then sends Nightingale crashing into the mat and puts her in a Camel Clutch.

Hart then hits Nightingale with knees on the back of her head, but Nightingale responds with a spinebuster. Hart then puts Nightingale in the Hartless, but Nightingale powers up to her feet. Hart then tries rolling Nightingale up, but Nightingale sits into a pin. Hart then kicks out and hits Nightingale with a couple of superkicks before she climbs to the top and looks to land a moonsault. Nightingale then gets her boots up and hits a clothesline on Hart, then follows it up with the Doctor Bomb for the win.

After the match, Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway join Willow Nightingale in the ring. They then hug her to celebrate her win, but Mercedes Moné’s music hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Nightingale then holds up her title and stares Moné down ahead of their AEW Double Or Nothing Match for the TBS Championship. Willow then celebrates with her family at ringside.

We then get an ad hyping up AEW Double or Nothing.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is an AEW International Championship Match.

AEW International Championship Match: The Undisputed Kingdom’s Roderick Strong (c) vs. Kyle O’Reilly

The match starts off with O’Reilly hitting Strong with a drop toe hold and both men then take turns putting each other in submission holds. Strong then hits O’Reilly with a backbreaker and follows it up with a chop, but O’Reilly responds with strikes. Strong then nails O’Reilly with a kick, then sends him into the corner. O’Reilly then sends Strong’s arm crashing into the mat, then hits him with kicks on his arm and chest. O’Reilly then charges at Strong, but Strong hits him with a backbreaker.

Strong then places O’Reilly on the top rope and sends him spine first into the top turnbuckle. Strong then nails O’Reilly with right hands and both men continue going back and forth. Strong then hits O’Reilly with a couple of backbreakers, then nails him with another one with both of his knees. O’Reilly then hits Strong with kicks, then trips him and hits him with a kick to his thigh. Strong then hits O’Reilly with an Angle Slam, but O’Reilly responds with a knee to Strong’s midsection off the top rope.

Strong and O’Reilly then exchange forearms before Strong hits another backbreaker on O’Reilly and goes for a pin. O’Reilly then kicks out and both men teeter on the top rope. Strong then hits O’Reilly with a superplex and both men blast each other. O’Reilly then delivers some kicks on Strong’s chest and Strong responds with strikes. O’Reilly then hits Strong with a German suplex, but Strong responds with a jumping knee. O’Reilly then puts Strong in a submission, but Strong makes it to the bottom rope to escape. O’Reilly then sends Strong’s arm bouncing off the ring apron, but Wardlow appears and distracts the referee. Strong then rolls O’Reilly up, but O’Reilly kicks out. Strong then hits O’Reilly with a gut-buster, but O’Reilly responds with a clothesline. O’Reilly then sends Strong crashing into the mat, then puts him in an arm bar. Strong then breaks the hold by getting his foot on the bottom rope and O’Reilly delivers some stomps on Strong. Strong then hits O’Reilly with the backbreaker for the win.

The winner and still the AEW International Champion, Roderick Strong!

After the match, Adam Cole, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett make their way out. Cole then gets out of his wheelchair, revealing that he is healed from injury. Cole then joins Strong in the ring with Bennett and Taven to celebrate Strong’s win.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is an FTW Championship Match.

FTW Championship Match: HOOK (c) vs. “Lionheart” Chris Jericho

The match starts off with Jericho hitting HOOK with a chop, but HOOK responds with one of his own. Both men then continue going back and forth before HOOK hits Jericho with a couple of T-Bone suplexes. HOOK then clotheslines Jericho out of the ring and follows it up with a forearm off the apron. Jericho then sends HOOK’s face bouncing off the ring steps and the announce desk, then grabs a table from under the ring. Jericho then looks to powerbomb HOOK through the table, but HOOK counters it into a German suplex. HOOK then pins Jericho on the outside, but Jericho kicks out. HOOK then grabs a garbage lid from under the ring with FTW spray painted on it and hits Jericho with it, then jumps off the ring steps to hit Jericho with it a second time. HOOK then looks to fly a second time, but Jericho stops him with a boot and hits him with a DDT on the garbage can lid.

Jericho then hits HOOK with a boot, but HOOK sends Jericho crashing through the table set up on the outside off the apron. HOOK then goes for a pin, but Jericho kicks out. HOOK then gets Jericho back in the ring and hits him with a German suplex. Jericho then nails HOOK with a boot, then follows it up with a clothesline in the corner. Jericho then delivers some right hands on HOOK in the corner, then follows it up with a hurricanrana and grabs a garbage can filled with kendo sticks. Jericho then sends it back into the ring and HOOK hits a German suplex on Jericho. HOOK then places the garbage can over Jericho and hits it with a kendo stick. HOOK then hits a T-Bone suplex on Jericho.

HOOK then pulls another table from under the ring and sets it up in the corner. Jericho then hits HOOK with a boot, then follows it up with a Northern Lights suplex. Jericho then hits HOOK with a codebreaker, then exchanges forearm strikes with HOOK. Jericho then hits HOOK with a clothesline and looks to hit HOOK with a forearm off the middle rope. HOOK avoids it and puts Jericho in the Redrum. Jericho escapes by sending HOOK crashing through the table and pins him with his feet on the ropes. HOOK then kicks out and Jericho puts him in the Liontamer. HOOK then counters into a pinfall, but Jericho kicks out. Jericho then hits HOOK with The Judas Effect and goes for the pin, but HOOK kicks out. Jericho then hits HOOK with a second Judas Effect and goes for another pin, but HOOK kicks out. Jericho then tells HOOK to stay down, then grabs Floyd the Bat from under the ring. HOOK then flips Jericho off, but Jericho blasts him with the bat. Jericho then pins HOOK for the win.

The winner and new FTW Champion, Chris Jericho!

After the match, a medical official, the referee and Taz checks on HOOK. Jericho then looks into the camera and says he is sorry.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is an AEW Women’s World Championship Match.

AEW Women’s World Championship Match: “Timeless” Toni Storm (c) vs. Thunder Rosa

The match starts off with Storm staring Rosa down. Storm and Rosa then begin brawling and Rosa hits Storm with a couple of double chops. Rosa then hits Storm with more chops in the corner, but Storm responds with strikes on Rosa. Storm then ends up on the outside and Rosa climbs to the top. Rosa then hits a corkscrew on Storm and Luther, then sends Storm back inside the ring and puts her boot into Storm’s neck.

Rosa then hits Storm with a suplex, but Storm responds with a couple of backbreakers and puts her elbow into Rosa’s spine. Storm then puts Rosa on the top rope, but Rosa escapes and pulls Storm off. Rosa then hits Storm with a powerbomb and follows it up with a Crucifix Bomb, then hits a dropkick. Rosa then hits Storm with a Death Valley Driver, but Storm responds with a backbreaker and a Tornado DDT. Storm then follows it up with a Northern Lights suplex, then climbs to the top rope and looks to fly. Rosa then moves out of the way and hits Storm with a sit-out powerbomb, then goes for a pin.

Storm then kicks out and exchanges strikes with Rosa. Rosa then hits Storm with an enzuigiri, but Storm responds with a German suplex. Rosa then responds with a German of her own, but Mariah May jumps up on the apron and distracts the referee. Deonna Purrazzo then appears and pulls May off the apron. Purrazzo blasts May and sends Luther crashing into the ring steps, allowing Storm to hit the Hip Attack on Rosa and a Storm Zero. Storm goes for a pin, but Rosa kicks out. Storm then puts Rosa in a Texas Cloverleaf, but Rosa escapes and hits Storm with a backbreaker. Rosa then puts Storm in a submission, but Storm escapes. Storm then hits Rosa with a double kick on her jaw, then follows it up with a low blow and the Storm Zero for the win.

The winner and still the AEW Women’s World Champion, “Timeless” Toni Storm!

After the match, Luther carries Storm to the back.

We then get a video package for the next match, which is Will Ospreay vs. Bryan Danielson followed by the entrances.

Singles Match: “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay vs. Blackpool Combat Club’s “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson

The match starts off with Danielson taking Ospreay down, but Ospreay transitions into a front face-lock. Danielson then backs Ospreay into the ropes and then pats his chest before backing away. Both men then lock up and Danielson hits Ospreay with a side-headlock take down. Ospreay then counters into a head-scissors hold, but Danielson gets free and goes for a bow-and-arrow submission. Ospreay then rolls through and gets a two count and both men stare each other down. Both men then go into a knuckle-lock and Danielson takes Ospreay down. Danielson then puts Ospreay in a top wrist-lock, but Ospreay gets free and puts Danielson in a side-headlock. Danielson then turns it into a head-scissors, but Ospreay gets free and they go to a stalemate again. Danielson then takes Ospreay down again and puts him in a side-headlock. Danielson then hits Ospreay with a few right palm strikes, but Ospreay sends him off the ropes. Both men then trip each other and dodge some kicks and Danielson hits Ospreay with a few strikes.

Danielson then goes for the LeBell Lock, but Ospreay escapes and goes for a kick, but Danielson dodges it and both men stare each other down again. Ospreay then trips Danielson, but Danielson flips him off. Ospreay then hits a chop on Danielson in the corner, but Danielson comes back with chops of his own. Danielson then trips Ospreay again and works on his ankle. Danielson then wrenches Ospreay’s neck, but Ospreay gets to his feet and hits Danielson with an elbow strike. Danielson then chops Ospreay and goes back to the neck wrench to take Ospreay down again. Ospreay then comes back with a dropkick and then hits Danielson with a hammer throw. Ospreay then chops Danielson in the corner, but Danielson comes back with chops of his own. Danielson then hits Ospreay with a few uppercuts and kicks, but Ospreay comes back and drops Danielson on the top rope. Ospreay then kicks Danielson to the outside and takes him out with a cross-body over the top rope.

Ospreay then gets Danielson back into the ring, but Danielson hits Ospreay with a kick to his midsection. Danielson then follows it up with a series of knee strikes and a kick for a two count. Danielson then works over Ospreay’s knees and puts him in an Indian Deathlock. Danielson follows it up with forearm shots and then transitions into a submission. Ospreay then makes it to the ropes and both men exchange chops. Danielson then takes Ospreay to the corner and hits him with rapid body shots. Danielson then kicks Ospreay in his midsection, but Ospreay comes back with a handspring kick to the head. Ospreay then hits Danielson with another shot and goes off the top rope with an elbow strike for a two count. Ospreay then hits Danielson with a few kicks, but Danielson comes back with chops and uppercuts. Danielson then runs the ropes, but Ospreay comes back with a kick and an enzuigiri that sends Danielson to the outside.

Ospreay then goes up top and hits Danielson with a corkscrew dive on the floor. Ospreay then gets Danielson back into the ring and hits him with a diving elbow strike. Ospreay then goes for an elbow strike, but Danielson counters it into a few kicks. Danielson then hits Ospreay with a Tiger suplex and gets a two count. Danielson then hits Ospreay with the hammer-and-anvil elbow strikes and puts Ospreay in the Cattle Mutilation, but Ospreay gets to the ropes. Danielson then hits Ospreay with some kicks in the corner and follows it up with a running kick before putting Ospreay up top. Danielson then goes for a hurricanrana, but Ospreay lands on his feet. Ospreay then kicks Danielson in the head and follows it up with a Tiger Driver for a two count. Ospreay then goes for the Skytwister Press, but Danielson knocks him down on the top turnbuckle. Danielson then climbs up top, but Ospreay hits him with elbow strikes. Danielson then comes back with his own elbow strikes and hits Ospreay with an avalanche Tiger suplex.

Danielson then goes for the cover, but Ospreay gets to the ropes to stop the count. Danielson then hits Ospreay with a series of kicks to his chest. Danielson then slaps Ospreay in the face, but Ospreay comes back with an elbow strike. Ospreay then hits Danielson with kicks and follows it up with palm strikes on the apron. Ospreay then goes for a Tiger Driver on the apron, but Danielson blocks it and responds with kicks to the chest. Ospreay then blocks the last one and hits Danielson with a thrust kick. Ospreay then hits Danielson with the Os-cutter on the apron and the referee checks on Danielson on the floor. Ospreay then hits Danielson with the Hidden Blade from the apron and gets back into the ring. Danielson then gets back into the ring at the eight count and Ospreay takes him down again. Ospreay then hits Danielson with a powerbomb and goes for the cover, but Danielson kicks out.

Ospreay then hits Danielson with a back heel kick and goes for the Os-cutter, but Danielson blocks it and goes for the LeBell Lock. Ospreay then gets free, but Danielson puts him in a guillotine choke. Ospreay then gets free, but Danielson slams him down and puts him in the LeBell Lock. Danielson then transitions and stretches out Ospreay’s shoulder, but Ospreay makes it to the ropes. Danielson then hits Ospreay a series of kicks to his chest and follows it up with one to his head. Danielson then goes for the Busaiku Knee, but Ospreay stops him. Danielson then rolls through and gets a two count, but Ospreay comes back and both men exchange roll-ups for two counts. Danielson then goes for a suplex, but Ospreay lands on his feed and goes for the Hidden Blade. Danielson then ducks and hits Ospreay with the Busaiku Knee for a two count. Danielson then stomps on Ospreay’s head repeatedly and goes for the LeBell Lock again.

Ospreay then rolls through and hits Danielson with elbow strikes, but Danielson comes back with a triangle hold and elbow strikes. Ospreay then picks Danielson up and hits him with a Styles Clash. Both men then exchange headbutts and elbow strikes as they get to their feet. Danielson then hits Ospreay with more headbutts, but Ospreay comes back with kicks. Danielson then comes back with palm strikes and suplexes Ospreay down. Ospreay then comes back with Hidden Blade and goes for the Os-cutter, but Danielson counters it into the Busaiku Knee. Danielson then sets up for another Busaiku Knee, but Ospreay counters it and takes Danielson down. Ospreay then hits Danielson with the Hidden Blade and a Tiger Driver. The referee then calls for the doctor, but Ospreay hits another Hidden Blade on Danielson for the win.

After the match, doctors rush the ring to check on Danielson as Ospreay celebrates. Ospreay then realizes what is going on and checks on Danielson. The referee backs Ospreay away and raises his hand in the air and Ospreay celebrates his win more before looking at the doctors and Danielson again. Ospreay then walks back over to check on Danielson again.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is the AEW World Tag Team Championship Ladder Match.

AEW World Tag Team Championship Ladder Match: The Elite’s The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood)

The match starts off with The Young Bucks looking to hit double superkicks on FTR. FTR avoids them and begins brawling with The Young Bucks. The Young Bucks then go for the EVP Trigger on Harwood, but Harwood avoids it and The Young Bucks’ knees are sent crashing into one another. Wheeler then jumps off the top rope to land on The Young Bucks before Matthew sends him crashing into the ring apron on the outside. Nicholas and Matthew then use a ladder to hit Harwood, but Wheeler nails The Young Bucks with a kick to the ladder. Matthew and Wheeler then begin fighting over a ladder, but Matthew uses it to send Wheeler crashing into the barricade. Nicholas then hits Wheeler with a kick and helps Matthew set up a ladder in the ring.

Harwood then begins brawling with Matthew on the ladder before The Young Bucks send Harwood and Wheeler crashing into the ladder face first. The Young Bucks then use the ladder to nail Wheeler and set Harwood up on the ladder. Nicholas then climbs to the top and looks to fly, but Harwood moves out of the way and. Nicholas lands on top of the ladder. Matthew is then sent crashing into the ladder as Wheeler sets up two tables on the outside. Nicholas then hits Wheeler with a running knee that causes Wheeler to land on a ladder set up on the apron. Matthew then holds up the ladder and Nicholas hits Wheeler with a running senton on the ladder.

The Young Bucks then set up a ladder in the ring and climb on top of it, but Harwood stops them and pulls them down. Harwood then begins to bleed as Nicholas grabs a chair and cracks it across his spine. Matthew then follows suit and Nicholas hits Harwood with another chair shot. Harwood is then placed in between the ladder and Nicholas hits the ladder with the chair. Nicholas then throws the chair on Wheeler and sets up a ladder with Matthew. Matthew then delivers some right hands on Harwood as Nicholas sets up another table on the outside. Nicholas and Matthew then set up a ladder between the ring apron and the barricade and send Harwood crashing into it face first. The Young Bucks then do the same to Wheeler, but Wheeler quickly recovers. Wheeler climbs on top of the ladder and hits a moonsault on The Young Bucks.

Wheeler and Matthew then end up on top of the ladder, but Nicholas trips Wheeler. The Young Bucks then hit The EVP Trigger on Wheeler on top of the ladder. Matthew then sends Harwood crashing into the top turnbuckle face first. The Young Bucks then look to hit a double suplex on Harwood through a table on the outside, but Wheeler comes to Harwood’s aid and FTR suplexes The Young Bucks into the ring. Wheeler then takes The Young Bucks down and grabs a ladder. Wheeler then sets it up and begins to climb it, but Matthew pulls him off it and gets him into an Electric Chair position. Harwood then jumps off the top to land on Matthew. Harwood then puts Nicholas in a Sharpshooter under the first rung of the ladder as Wheeler climbs to the top. Nicholas then meets him up there and knocks him off, but Harwood pulls him down and hits him with a sit-out powerbomb. Matthew then hits Harwood with a kick before Wheeler sends Matthew crashing through a table on the outside with a spear and Nicholas sends Harwood through another one with a hurricanrana.

Nicholas and Wheeler then brawl on top of a ladder and Harwood and Matthew join them on a second one. Wheeler and Nicholas are knocked off and Harwood is sent to the mat by Matthew to join them. FTR then hits Matthew with a Shatter Machine off one of the ladders, but Nicholas blasts a chair on both of them. Nicholas then hits some stomps on Wheeler and climbs up a ladder in the corner. Harwood then meets him up there as Wheeler climbs up another ladder. Harwood then hits Nicholas with a suplex off one of the ladders and Wheeler follows it up with a splash.

Matthew then sends Harwood out of the ring and Harwood sends him crashing into the ladder face first as well. Nicholas then climbs to the top rope having set up Wheeler on a table and hits him with a 450 Splash through the table. Harwood then hits a piledriver on Matthew through the ladder set up between the ring apron and the barricade. Nicholas then hits a Sunset Flip on Harwood off a ladder set up in the ring and climbs up the ladder. Wheeler then pulls him down and clotheslines him out of the ring, then looks to hit him with a tope suicida. Nicholas then ducks out of the way and Wheeler is sent crashing through the table leaning against the barricade. Nicholas and Harwood then brawl on top of a ladder as they are both trying to reach the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Harwood then sends Nicholas crashing off a ladder before a hooded figure wearing a Sting mask pushes Harwood off the ladder. Security guards then grab him and unmask him to reveal him to be Jack Perry. Nicholas then climbs up the ladder and grabs both of the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

After the match, The Young Bucks celebrate their win.

We then get the entrances of the main event, which is the AEW World Championship Match.

AEW World Championship Match: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Swerve Strickland

The match starts off with Strickland looking to jump off the top rope, but Joe moves out of the way and Strickland lands on the outside. Strickland then goes for the tope suicida, but Joe sees him coming and sends him crashing into the announce desk spine first. Joe then hits Strickland with a chop that sends him over the announce desk, then Joe sends Strickland back into the ringside area and exposes the concrete. Strickland then goes to jump and land on Joe. Joe then stops Strickland and sets up for a Muscle Buster, but Strickland escapes and charges at Joe. Joe then hits Strickland with a powerslam on top of the exposed concrete, then gets him back inside the ring.

Strickland and Joe then go back and forth in the ring before Joe delivers some kicks to Strickland. Joe then hits Strickland with a series of chops. Strickland then hits Joe with a boot, but Joe responds with a shot and sends him crashing out of the ring. Both men then brawl on the outside before Strickland hits Joe with a kick to Joe’s shoulder back inside the ring. Joe then goes for the Coquina Clutch, but Strickland avoids it and teeters on the top rope with Joe. Strickland then jumps off the middle rope and sends Joe crashing into the mat face first, then looks to put him in an Arm Bar. Joe prevents him from doing so, but Strickland transitions into a Triangle. Joe then counters into a modified Buckle Bomb and follows it up with a Muscle Buster, then goes for a pin. Strickland kicks out and hits a 450 Splash on Joe as Joe is draped through the middle rope. Strickland then climbs back up to the top and hits Joe with the Swerve Stomp, then goes for a pin but Joe kicks out.

Joe then rakes Strickland’s eye and grabs the AEW World Championship. Strickland then grabs it, but Joe avoids getting hit and puts Strickland in the Coquina Clutch. Strickland then makes it up to his feet and stomps on Joe’s arm as he wrenches back on the other, then spots the AEW World Championship still in the ring. Strickland then hits Joe with the House Call and goes for a pin, but Joe kicks out. Joe and Strickland then teeter on the top rope before Strickland looks for a double stomp. Strickland overshoots it, but hits Joe with a powerbomb. Strickland climbs back up to the top and hits the Swerve Stomp on Joe for the win.

The winner and new AEW World Champion, Swerve Strickland!

After the match, Strickland celebrates with Nana and some of the fans at ringside. Strickland then continues to celebrate his win and walk around ringside as the show comes to a close.
