Santana eventually made the decision to depart from AEW earlier this year following months of absence. He then made his return at TNA Rebellion this week and has now sent a message to the TNA locker room.

Mike Santana made triumphant return to TNA Wrestling at TNA Rebellion, marking his re-entry into the promotion with a significant victory. His return was announced by Santino Marella, the TNA Director of Authority, who introduced Santana as the newest addition to the roster.

Santana’s return set the stage for an electrifying showdown with Steve Maclin. Maclin, having fulfilled all his contractual demands except for appearing at TNA Rebellion, was seeking a challenge, and Santana stepped up to meet him. Santana took control of the match with a powerful spinning lariat, which led to his victory over Maclin.

While speaking in a backstage interview following his epic return, Mike Santana passionately shared his journey back to professional wrestling after a 14-month hiatus. Santana emphasized that he’s faced opponents from various wrestling backgrounds and has come out on top.

”August 23rd, I made my way back to professional wrestling after digging myself out of a hole in 14 months. I had my very first match in front of 80,000+ people and I have not f stopped since. Top of the indies, bottom of the indies, you come from Japan, Mexico, Canada, one by one you have fallen to the nastiest ever. ”

Santana underscored his resilience and determination by stating that he has achieved success on his terms and then made it clear he is in TNA Wrestling to take the top spot in the company.

”And the best part about it is that I’ve done it all on my terms like a man. Look at me now. Back home, back in TNA. And I just put down a former World Champion. What bigger statement do I need to make? I’m here for the top spot, so everybody’s that sitting comfortably, take a look at me. I am coming for your f***** spots! Now feast your eyes, you just witnessed the return of the motherf***** realest.”

Ringside News had previously reported Santana’s return to TNA in March as well. Regardless, we will have to wait and see how Mike Santana will be booked in the coming months.
