After making a triumphant return to AEW in August of last year, Mike Santana was notably absent from AEW television for an extended period until his departure from the company earlier this month. Santana’s next destination in the world of professional wrestling has now been unveiled.

In case you missed it, Santana and his former tag team partner Ortiz engaged in a memorable and deeply personal feud on AEW Rampage last year, showcasing their exceptional promo skills. Their No Disqualification match on the October 25th episode of AEW Rampage concluded with Santana emerging victorious. However, despite this significant win, Santana was noticeably absent from AEW television ever since.

Expressing his frustration over the lack of TV time, Santana eventually made the decision to depart from the company earlier this month.

According to Fightful Select, TNA is in the works to bring in Santana, who was a former member of LAX and has notably held the House Of Glory Championship. This potential move would mark a return to familiar territory for Santana within the TNA promotion.

Mike Santana also revealed the reason for this AEW departure. Santana was already part of TNA before his AEW debut, so we will have to wait and see how he will fare in the new landscape of TNA Wrestling.
