It’s Monday night, and you know what that means! WWE RAW will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the April 15, 2024 episode.

WWE RAW Results (4/15/2024):

The show opens up with WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn, World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest, Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes and “Main Event” Jey Uso shown arriving at the arena earlier today.

We are then welcomed to the show by Michael Cole and Pat McAfee as Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley makes her way down to the ring with her right arm in a sling, while RAW General Manager Adam Pearce is already in the ring.

Rhea Ripley starts off by saying the fans obviously know what’s going on. Ripley then says after Liv Morgan attacked her last week she was told that she will be on the shelf for a few months. Ripley then says she is angry and pissed off because she has been told she has to vacate the Women’s World Championship. Ripley then expresses how much the title means to her, then lays it down in the ring. Ripley then says everything that’s happening is because of Morgan’s revenge tour, then says she could have had respect for Morgan if Morgan met her face-to-face instead of blindsiding her backstage. Ripley then puts whoever the new champion is on notice and says she will be coming for blood when she returns.

Morgan’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Officials hold Morgan back as they do Ripley. Both women then exchange words before Morgan retreats to the back. Ripley then headbutts one of the security guards out of frustration.

We then head to the back, where The Judgment Day embraces Rhea Ripley. The fans then applauds Ripley. Damian Priest says Ripley will come back and make Morgan regret what she did and Ripley will come back more badass than ever. Ripley then thanks them and leaves.

Michael Cole then announces an attendance of 15,118 fans. Cole also spoke about Ivar’s appearance on NXT.

“The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night followed by The Viking Raiders’ Ivar.

Singles Match: “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus vs. The Viking Raiders’ Ivar

The match starts off with both men trying to knock each other down with shoulder tackles, but both men still remain on their feet. Both men then exchange strikes and Sheamus runs over Ivar with a shoulder tackle. Sheamus then goes for The Ten Beats of the Bodhran, but Ivar counters it into a jawbreaker. Ivar then climbs to the top, but Sheamus hits him with a series of right hands and joins Ivar up there. Sheamus then hits Ivar with White Noise from the middle rope.

Sheamus then hits Ivar with a bodyslam and follows it up with The Ten Beats of the Bodhran. Sheamus then places Ivar up on his shoulders, but Ivar escapes and hits Sheamus with a kick. Ivar then follows it up with a spinning back heel kick and climbs to the top rope, then hits a splash and goes for a pin, but Sheamus kicks out. Ivar then delivers some right hands on Sheamus in the corner, but Sheamus responds with a few right hands of his own. Ivar then looks to fly off the ropes, but Sheamus takes him down mid-air. Sheamus then follows it up with a bicycle knee and the Brogue Kick for the win.

After the match, Sheamus makes his way to the commentary desk and celebrates his win with Michael Cole and Pat McAfee.

We then get a video package for tonight’s Intercontinental Championship main event match.

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque then makes his way down to the ring to address the WWE Universe.

RAW General Manager Adam Pearce is already in the ring and we see a platform with what looks like new championship titles covered with a sheet. Triple H starts off by saying it’s hard to believe that only eight days ago we were in the midst of the biggest WrestleMania of all time. Triple H then says a new era has started and Adam Pearce says a new era has began for the tag team division as well. Triple H then addresses the separation of the RAW and SmackDown Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 40 in the 6-Pack Ladder Match. Triple H then introduces Awesome Truth and R-Truth and The Miz then make their way down to the ring.

R-Truth does the splits in the ring and Triple H congratulates The Miz and R-Truth on becoming the new RAW Tag Team Champions. Triple H then tells Truth that seeing him have his WrestleMania moment was awesome and announces that from now on they will be known as the World Tag Team Champions. Triple H then lifts up the sheet and unveils new tag team championship belts. R-Truth becomes excited and says he has never seen a trick like the one Triple H just did. R-Truth then says Triple H just made titles appear out of nowhere and calls it Criss Angel stuff. R-Truth then says he knows good magicians when he sees one. Triple H then tells Miz to explain what happened to Truth and Miz informs Truth that Triple H is not a magician.

Truth then brings up Little Jimmy and asks what else Triple H is hiding, but Miz tells Truth that it is their chance to take the new World Tag Team Championship to new heights. Miz then says that is why Pearce and Triple H, but before he can continue, Truth asks where Triple H is. Truth then tells Triple H that he sees through him and thinks that he is Tommaso Ciampa. Miz then tells Truth in French that the titles on the table are their new ones and Truth finally begins to understand what’s going on.

Triple H then takes the old RAW Tag Team Championship belts from Truth and Miz, then hands them their new title belts. Triple H then wishes Pearce luck and leaves the ring. Pearce then asks Truth why he made Triple H leave the ring and Truth says Triple H wasn’t out in the ring. Pearce then gives up on tryin, and says a Triple Threat #1 Contenders Match will determine their first challengers.

We then get the entrances of the World Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Triple Threat Match.

World Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Triple Threat Match: The Creed Brothers (Brutus Creed and Julius Creed) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) vs. #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa)

The match starts off with Brutus Creed, Xavier Woods and Johnny Gargano. Woods delivers some right hands on Brutus. Gargano then pulls Woods off and does the same to Brutus, but Brutus nails Gargano with a forearm. Brutus, Woods and Gargano then take turns rolling each other up before Brutus hits a double clothesline on Gargano and Woods. Julius then tags in and The Creed Brothers look to hits a double suplex on Woods and Gargano, but Ciampa and Kingston enter the ring. All competitors then begin brawling with one another before #DIY sends The New Day and The Creed Brothers to the outside. #DIY then looks to jump and land on The Creed Brothers, but The Creed Brothers catch them. The New Day then jumps and lands on everyone on the outside.

Julius, Ciampa and Kingston then exchange strikes in the middle of the ring. Julius then hits Ciampa with a jumping knee, then puts Kingston in an Ankle Lock. Ciampa then breaks the hold and all six men then begin brawling with each other once again. All six men then take turns knocking each other down before Ciampa hits a powerbomb-double knees to the spine combination and Gargano flies to land on everyone else on the outside as Awesome Truth is shown watching the match from the announce desk.

Woods then tags in and hits Ciampa with a kick to his head. Woods then follows it up with a Tornado DDT and a clothesline, then hits a spinning forearm on Brutus. Kingston then tags in and hits Ciampa with a kick to his head, but Ciampa is sent crashing into the ring post shoulder first. Then New Day then hits a Wheelbarrow-leg drop combination, but Julius hits Kingston with a belly-to-belly suplex. Julius then does the same on Woods and both members of #DIY, then tags Brutus in. Kingston then climbs to the top and Julius joins him up there, then he hits a suplex. Woods then hits an elbow drop on Julius off the top rope and goes for a pin, but #DIY breaks up the pinfall by hitting a double superkick on him. Gargano then gets the pinfall victory on Woods.

The winners of the World Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Triple Threat Match, #DIY!

We then head to the back, where Jackie Redmond tries to interview Drew McIntyre after a replay is shown of CM Punk costing McIntyre the World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender’s Match last week. McIntyre is furious and just storms off.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Tag Team Match.

Tag Team Match: Ivy Nile and Maxxine Dupri vs. Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell

The match starts off with Nile and Hartwell. Nile hits a dropkick and an enzuigiri on Hartwell, then tags Dupri in. Dupri then hits a crossbody on Hartwell off the top rope, then follows it up with a German suplex and goes for a pin. Hartwell then kicks out and we see LeRae entering halfway into the ring ready to break the fall. Dupri then gets distracted by LeRae, allowing Hartwell to nail her and tag LeRae in. LeRae then wears Dupri down, then tags Hartwell back in.

LeRae then tags in and prevents Dupri from making a tag to Nile. Dupri then hits LeRae with a knee to her midsection and nails her with a flatliner, then looks to tag Nile in. Hartwell then captures the referee’s attention and Nile tags in, but the referee doesn’t see the tag and sends Nile out of the ring. Hartwell then takes advantage and hits a boot on Dupri while the referee isn’t looking. Hartwell then puts LeRae on top of Dupri so she can pin her for the win while she holds Nile’s ankle to prevent her from breaking the pinfall.

We then get a video package of World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest, looking at his journey of how he became the champion from his start in the company.

We then head to the back to the Judgment Day’s clubhouse, where “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh were upset, but World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest reminds them that they still ran WWE. Priest then pushes Dominik to teach Andrade a lesson and tells McDonagh to have his back. Finn Bálor then says they should focus on getting the tag titles back, but he has to wrestle “Main Event” Jey Uso first later tonight. Priest then tells Bálor to focus on tonight and teach Jey the meaning of the word “loss.” Priest then says he will teach Jey the meaning of the word “pain” at Backlash. Priest then asks Bálor if he was good with that and Bálor says he is.

Alpha Academy’s Chad Gable was then shown training with the Creed Brothers in the arena earlier this afternoon. Redmond then interviews Gable and asks him what it will be like to face Sami Zayn in Montreal. Gable says he made the Olympic team as a Minnesota guy in Iowa and not one person in that building wanted him to win, but he did and he plans on doing the same thing tonight. Gable then says he knows exactly how to expose Zayn.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Andrade vs. The Judgment Day’s “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio

The match starts off with Dominik hitting a chop on Andrade. Dominik then puts Andrade in a Side Headlock, but Andrade responds with a shoulder tackle and climbs to the top rope. Andrade then hits Dominik with a crossbody and looks for The Three Amigos, but Dominik reverses it into a Three Amigos of his own on the third suplex attempt by Andrade. Andrade then climbs to the top rope and looks to fly, but McDonagh jumps up on the apron and gives Dominik the advantage to trip Andrade. Andrade then looks to jump from the top rope, but Dominik moves out of the way and hits a Mexican Destroyer on Andrade on the barricade. Dominik then gets Andrade back in the ring and goes for a pin, but Andrade kicks out. McDonagh then jumps on the apron, but Andrade nails him. Andrade then hits Dominik with The Message for the win.

After the match, McDonagh blindsides Andrade and gets Dominik back up to his feet. Dominik then holds Andrade in place as McDonagh delivers some forearms on him. Ricochet then makes his way down to the ring to even the odds and McDonagh and Dominik retreat.

We then head to the back, where Cathy Kelley is interviewing “Main Event” Jey Uso. Kelley asks Jey Uso about Tama Tonga attacking Jimmy Uso. Jey says he told Jimmy to come with him. Jey then says he has to focus on Bálor tonight and Bálor will receive a Yeet-down.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Tag Team Match.

Tag Team Match: Piper Niven and Chelsea Green vs. Kayden Carter and Katana Chance

The match starts off with Carter and Niven. Chance is tagged in and Carter and Chance double teams Niven, but Niven knocks both Carter and Chance down and tags in Green. Niven then nails Chance with a discus clothesline and Green charges at Chance in the corner. Chance then hits Green with a boot, then tags Carter in. Carter and Chance then double team Green, but Green slaps Carter and looks to tag out to Niven. Carter then pulls Green back into the corner, then nails her with a series of chops and a swinging reverse STO. Chance then looks to fly, but Niven hits her with a Fallaway Slam. Carter then sends Green crashing into the mat and goes for a pin, but Niven breaks the fall and hits a running low crossbody on Carter. Green then rolls up Carter for the win.

We then head to the back, where Cathy Kelley is interviewing Liv Morgan. Morgan was clearly confused by the reaction she was getting from the fans. Everyone in the back was mad at her as well, but she says she isn’t the bad guy. Morgan then wonders where this sympathy was for her when Ripley injured her shoulder. Morgan then calls it karma at its finest. Morgan then says her revenge tour wasn’t over and it will only end once she is the Women’s World Champion.

Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes then makes his way down to the ring to address the WWE Universe.

Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes starts off by asking Montreal what they want to talk about. Rhodes then thanks RAW General Manager Adam Pearce for letting him hang out on RAW even though he is technically a SmackDown star. Rhodes then says WrestleMania 40 can’t be reflected on forever, then discusses his next two potential challengers for his championship, which is LA Knight or AJ Styles. Rhodes then says he could talk about Seth “Freakin” Rollins for hours, but he is going to keep it brief. Rhodes then thanks Rollins, then discusses “The Final Boss” The Rock and says it was news to him that The Rock did a ten week program with a great strength and conditioning coach. Rhodes then says he thinks The Rock has a lot more than one match left in him and despite The Rock saying he was going to make him bleed, he will make The Rock bleed if he does fight him. Rhodes then invites “Main Event” Jey Uso out to the ring and Jey makes his way down.

Rhodes then tells Jey Uso that he knows when one member of Judgment Day is present, the rest aren’t far behind. Rhodes then offers to be at ringside for Jey’s upcoming match against Finn Balor and Jey tells Rhodes he appreciates that. Jey then tells Rhodes he has to do it on his own and Rhodes tells Jey he understands. Rhodes then hugs Jey and looks to leave, but stops himself and tells Jey “until they yeet again.”

We then head to the back, where Cathy Kelley is interviewing Nia Jax. Jax says she doesn’t give a damn about Ripley. Jax then says she doesn’t think anyone in the division can stop her from winning the title. Jax then says she took care of Morgan and Becky Lynch the last time she saw each of them. Jax then says there were two types of people on the planet: those who fear Nia Jax and those who learn to fear Nia Jax. Jax then says the Women’s World Title is hers.

The Judgment Day’s Finn Bálor then makes his way down to the ring for the next match, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: “Main Event” Jey Uso vs. The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor

The match starts off with Bálor attacking Jey Uso from behind before the bell even rings and Bálor continues his attack on Uso. Jey then responds with a few right hands and a sunset flip, but Bálor hits Uso with a dropkick and an elbow drop as we see Damian Priest watching the action from the Judgment Day’s clubhouse. Bálor then nails Uso with a shoulder on his midsection, then hits him with a chop. Bálor then nails Uso with shoulders again and chops, but Uso climbs to the top rope. Bálor then trips Uso and dropkicks him out of the ring.

Jey then hits Bálor with a kick to his midsection and nails him with a Samoan Drop. Bálor then responds with an elbow drop and stomps, but Jey climbs to the top rope and looks to land an Uso Splash. Bálor then avoids it and climbs to the top rope. Bálor looks for a Coup De Grace, but Jey moves out of the way and nails Bálor with a spear. Jey then follows it up with the Uso Splash for the win.

After the match, World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest appears and holds his championship. “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh then attack Jey Uso. Finn Bálor then joins in on the beat down, but Jey hits a superkick on Dominik and escapes through the crowd. Bálor and McDonagh then try to stop him, but Jey sends them crashing into one another and exits through the crowd. Jey Uso then runs into WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn.

Zayn was standing outside of the arena and was looking up at the Bell Centre. Jey asks Zayn what he was looking at. Zayn says the first show he ever saw was in this building 25 years ago and now he was returning as champion. Zayn then says he wants to enter the building the same way he did back then, right through the front door. The camera then follows Zayn as he marched through the concourse. Zayn then makes his entrance through the crowd as they sing his song.

It is then announced that a new WWE Women’s World Champion will be crowned next week on RAW.

“Big” Bronson Reed then confronts Alpha Academy’s Chad Gable in Gorilla before he can make his entrance for the main event, which is the WWE Intercontinental Championship Match. Reed warns Gable that whoever wins tonight will not be champion for long. Gable then makes his way down to the ring.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Alpha Academy’s Chad Gable

The match starts off with Gable hitting Zayn with a drop toe hold, then putting him in a side headlock. Zayn then responds with an arm drag, but Gable hits Zayn with an arm drag of his own. Zayn then hits Gable with a second arm drag, then low bridges Gable out of the ring before Gable makes his way back inside and stares Zayn down. Zayn then grabs Gable’s knee on the outside as Gable climbs to the top rope. Gable then hits Zayn with a splash. Gable then returns Zayn back inside the ring, climbs to the top rope and hits Zayn with a diving headbutt. Gable then hits Zayn with a Dragon Screw and continues wearing down Zayn’s knee. Zayn then responds with a clothesline and climbs to the middle rope. Zayn then hits Gable with an elbow drop. Gable then rolls up Zayn, but Zayn kicks out. Gable then puts Zayn in an Ankle Lock, but Zayn manages to escape and sends Gable to the outside. Zayn then jumps from the ropes to land on Gable.

Gable then hits a T-Bone superplex on Zayn and follows it up with a few German suplexes, but Zayn responds with a few back elbows and German suplexes of his own. Gable then responds with another German suplex, but Zayn delivers two more of his own. Zayn and Gable then exchange right hands before Zayn hits an Exploder on Gable and goes for the Helluva Kick. Gable then moves out of the way and transitions into an Ankle Lock. Gable then climbs to the top, but Zayn counters into a powerbomb. Zayn then looks to lock in a submission, but his knee gives out. Zayn then goes for the Helluva Kick, but Gable avoids it and hits a German suplex on Zayn in the corner. Gable then climbs to the top rope and looks to fly, but Zayn looks to get his knees up. Gable then sees Zayn and transitions into another Ankle Lock, but Zayn counters it into a roll up. Gable then kicks out and Zayn hits an Exploder on Gable in the corner. Zayn then follows it up with a Helluva Kick for the win.

After the match, Zayn helps Gable up out of the corner. Gable then holds up Zayn’s hand and exits the ring. Zayn then exits the ring as well to celebrate his win with his family, but Gable blindsides him and hits Zayn with a German suplex in front of his family. Gable then sends Zayn crashing into the ring post and sends him over the announce desk, then gets him back inside the ring and puts him in an Ankle Lock through the middle turnbuckle. Officials then appear to separate the two men, but Gable keeps the hold locked in as the show comes to a close.
