Ronda Rousey exited WWE following her match against Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam the previous year. And now it appears Rousey has revealed her in-ring future after her WWE exit.

At SummerSlam last August, Ronda Rousey faced off against Shayna Baszler in what now seems to be her last WWE match ever. The bout harkened back to their UFC origins, with the two competing in an MMA Rules match. Ultimately, Baszler secured the victory, dealing Rousey her first submission loss in her professional wrestling career.

While speaking on Steve-O’s Wild Ride, Ronda Rousey was asked about her in-ring future after parting ways with WWE. Rousey made it clear she would only wrestle in the independent circuit, should she return to the ring.

“If I wrestle from now on, I’m just gonna do it on like an indie show where I can wrestle for as long as I want and prepare for as long as I want, and do whatever moves I wanna do and just do it with my friends and take all the anxiety out of it because it’s just so needlessly stressful and dangerous, the way they do it.”

Ronda Rousey also claims WWE didn’t give her time to rehearse like they did for Logan Paul. Nevertheless, Rousey has other things to look forward to in life and it appears pro wrestling is a major uncertainty at the moment.
