CM Punk and Drew McIntyre harbor a deep-seated animosity towards each other. At WrestleMania 40 last Sunday, Punk exacted revenge on McIntyre, and continued to assert his dominance on RAW this week. Following the conclusion of the show, Punk delivered a bold promise to the Philadelphia audience.

Despite his ongoing recovery from a torn triceps, CM Punk made his presence felt on the Raw following WrestleMania. Although unable to compete, Punk intervened during the main event on the April 8 episode, diverting Drew McIntyre’s attention and aiding Jey Uso in securing a victory in a four-way match, thus earning a coveted world title shot.

After the conclusion of the show, WWE uploaded a post-show video where Punk took the opportunity to address the crowd, promising to send them home happy. Jey expressed his desire to sign his shoes and toss them into the audience. Punk reminisced about his time living in Philadelphia, emphasizing the city’s significance to him and acknowledging the passionate wrestling fanbase present, numbering over 20,000.

The Second City Saint gave a special shout-out to Paul Heyman and expressed gratitude to Philadelphia for their warm welcome. Punk assured the fans that he would return with his boots on next time. Together, Punk and Uso signed Jey’s shoes before tossing them into the delighted crowd.
