Rey Mysterio Pays Homage to Philadelphia Eagles With His Gear at WrestleMania 40 Saturday

WrestleMania Saturday kicked off with total blast as Triple H welcomed the WWE universe to the greatest spectacle in the history of sports entertainment. The show kicked off with Rhea Ripley retaining her Women’s World Champion, followed by the Tag Team Championships getting split during the ladder match. 

Following a couple of intense matches, WWE featured Rey Mysterio and Andrade vs Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio. The WWE Hall of Famer entered the match with wrestling gear that paid homage to the Philadelphia Eagles football team. The tribute to the Eagles was a sweet gesture from Mysterio ahead of his massive clash against two of his former prodigies. 

In an intense tag team battle, Rey Mysterio and Andrade picked a massive victory at WrestleMania. However, the result could’ve been different if Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson didn’t make a surprise appearance at the right moment. 

Following a victory, Rey Mysterio and Andrade are expected to continue their alliance. On the other hand, Legado Del Fantasma might want another partner by their side to even the odds against the Hall of Famer.
