Update: The Rock finally showed up about 5:50PM ET. After about fifteen mins of Q&A, he left the stage and headed to the back.

The Rock is one of the biggest WWE attractions of all time whose fame and star power has evolved with time to unprecedented heights. Moreover, that magnanimous star power was on full display during WWE’s recent event that advertised The Great One’s appearance, even though he did not make it on time.

As WWE announced earlier, The Rock was slated to be a part of the new and highly anticipated fan experiential event, WWE World on Thursday, April 4 taking place in Philidelphia.

As seen on a user’s X account, thousands of people showed up to get a glimpse of The Most Electrifying Man in All Entertainment at WWE World having enjoyed the ride he has taken the fans on the road to WrestleMania 40.

However, Ringside News‘ readers sent out word that The Final Boss was late to his scheduled appearance at the fan event. However, nobody moved and inched until The Rock showed but heckled WWE for making them wait to see one of the biggest WWE superstars of all time.

Nonetheless, the fans in Philadelphia would get a chance to witness The Rock’s return to the ring after eight years when he teams up with Roman Reigns to battle the duo of Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 Night 1, billed to be one of the biggest tag team matches of all time.
