The Rock returned to WWE to be a prime fixture on the road to WrestleMania 40 unleashing his Final Boss reign all over the global juggernaut. Now, he is gearing up to make his return inside the squared circle after eight years for a high-stakes tag team match at this week’s Show of Shows.

In recent article by ESPN, it has been disclosed that WWE enlisted the help of a trio of NXT stars to aid in his preparation and shed off the ring rust. According to the report, the NXT faction Gallus played a pivotal role in training The Rock for his return to the squared circle.

Gallus, composed of real-life brothers, Joe and Mark Coffey, and Wolfgang, have been regulars for WWE’s developmental territory and lend their expertise to The Final Boss’ training regime with sessions held in Los Angeles, California

Furthermore, The Rock’s training sessions were supervised by producers Michael Hayes and Bobby Roode, ensuring that The Great One received top-tier guidance throughout his preparation. In addition to the wrestling talent present, referee Chad Patton officiated the sessions, ensuring everything ran smoothly, while WWE medical personnel were on standby to provide any necessary assistance, underscoring the meticulous planning and attention to detail invested in The Rock’s training for his highly anticipated WrestleMania return.

With The Rock undergoing some of the best and most intense sessions under the guidance of prime experts, it will be interesting to see how that translates inside the ring this Saturday at WrestleMania 40 Night 1, where he and his cousin Roman Reigns will compete against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in what is billed to be the greatest tag team match in WrestleMania history.
