The stakes could not have been higher than ever for the tag team division with the team of Street Profits battling in the final round of the SmackDown tag team tournament Austin Theory and Grayson Waller.

Both teams went left everything inside the ring displaying an excellent tag team showdown for the WWE Universe on tonight’s edition of the show with an opportunity to compete in the 6-Pack tag team ladder match for the Undisputed WWE tag team titles hanging in the balance.

It seemed as if Montez Ford was closing in towards a victory for his team towards the end, but he and Angelo Dawkins were distracted watching their Final Testament rivals Karrion Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux standing tall over a beaten Bobby Lashley and B-Fab, being The Street Profits’ cohorts.

The distraction was long enough for Austin Theory to get his knees up as Montez connected with the frog splash and rolled him up for the pin to punch his and Grayson Waller’s ticket to go to WrestleMania 40 to compete in the aforementioned ladder match.

As the young upstart duo celebrated, The Street Profits were assaulted by Karrion Kross’ allies from behind, The AOP inside the ring leading to a battered Bobby Lashley to walk down to the ring to help his faction members. But The Almighty himself felt the wrath of the AOP and then Kross lay down in the middle of the ring as The Final Testament stood tall.
