TNA Wrestling is gearing up for what they hope will be a memorable year, despite the departure controversy surrounding Scott D’Amore. However, two top TNA stars have finished up with the company and it appears one of them has bid goodbye ahead of their contract expiry.

As previously reported, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin’s contract will be expiring soon, as many believe it will end next week. The duo are scheduled for an appearance for Smash Wrestling in London, Ontario, on April 21, coinciding with TNA’s post-Rebellion TV tapings.

It was then reported that following the TNA taping in Philadelphia last week, The Motor City Machine Guns had finished their stint with TNA Wrestling.

Ahead of his contract expiry, Alexa Shelly took to Twitter and wrote a thoughtful message about things changing and leaving a place better than one found it, as he seemingly bid goodbye to TNA Wrestling.

‘While things change, I want to express this – try to leave things better off than when you found them. Everyone is someone, treat them with respect, show up enthused, do your best, and help others whenever possible. I hope this isn’t too “Live, Laugh, Love” wall art cringe.”

Both Sabin and Shelley are highly respected in the wrestling community, with Shelley having worked in various promotions including NXT, NJPW, AEW, ROH, and MLW, while Sabin has made appearances in AEW, NJPW, ROH, and CMLL over the past 15 years. It remains to be seen what they will do next.
