Since his clash with Cody Rhodes at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event, Brock Lesnar’s absence from WWE television has fueled speculation about his future with the company. Rumors have swirled, particularly regarding his alleged involvement in Vince McMahon’s trafficking lawsuit. Additionally, reports have hinted at WWE’s efforts to bring Lesnar back, and recent developments shed more light on this matter.

Initially, there were plans for Brock Lesnar to participate in the Royal Rumble. However, these plans were altered due to his legal entanglements related to Vince McMahon’s trafficking lawsuit.

Furthermore, apart from his absence from WWE programming, Lesnar faced additional setbacks in his relationship with the company. Notably, he was excluded from the latest WWE video game, WWE 2K24, and removed from WWE Creative’s plans for the foreseeable future. His exclusion from both the game’s roster announcement and creative plans suggests a significant shift in his status within the company.

During Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez hinted at potential developments signaling Brock Lesnar’s return to WWE. Despite Lesnar’s absence from various WWE platforms, Alvarez suggested that there have been “moves” to facilitate his comeback.

“In the last few days, there have been moves regarding Brock Lesnar. If you listen to the show last night with Dave [Meltzer], everything we talked about is accurate other than the roster page. There are movements to bring him back.”

However, Alvarez remained uncertain about Lesnar’s actual return and expressed skepticism about the idea. Despite inquiries being made, the outcome remains uncertain, leaving fans to wait and see what unfolds regarding Lesnar’s WWE future.

“I should add regarding Brock. I’m not saying he’s going to be back. I have no idea if he’s going to be back. I wouldn’t bring him back but I can tell you that there have been inquiries made and what that means, we will wait and see. It seems like a bad idea to me. Put it that way.”

Ringside News reached out to WWE source to inquire about Bryan Alvarez’s remarks concerning Brock Lesnar. According to the response, there have been no changes to Lesnar’s circumstances within the company, and Alvarez’s report is deemed inaccurate.

“There is no change of circumstances on Brock Lesnar.”

Although Brock Lesnar was included in WWE 2K24, albeit not as a fully playable character for all modes, this does not necessarily imply an imminent return to WWE television. Only time will reveal if The Beast Incarnate will make a comeback to WWE.
