AEW Big Business exceeded major expectations as one of the biggest spectacles for their weekly televised programming, Dynamite while also setting the tone for big things in store for next week.

Tonight’s edition of AEW Big Business saw an enthralling tag team showdown with HOOK and “Lionheart” Chris Jericho picking up the win against Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona).

Following a backstage interview after the match, Jericho expressed his desire to find out HOOK’s ability firsthand and challenged him to a match that was made official later on.

Towards the end of the show, it was announced that AEW Triple Crown champion Eddie Kingston will defend his title against the Rainmaker, Kazuchika Okada in a one-on-one bout.

Finally, the newest AEW signee who opened and closed Big Business with her presence, Mercedes Mone was announced for a segment for next week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, potentially shedding more light on her future plans in the company.
