Cody Rhodes has been perceived to become the next flagship star for the wrestling global juggernaut, WWE, and now, The American Nightmare’s popularity is transcending beyond the ring to other ventures.

The No.1 Contender for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship took to his X to make an exciting announcement of being the sponsored athlete for the alcohol brand, Wheatley American Vodka.

Rhodes complimented the enthralling news by dropping a photo of his bus that proudly displayed the partnership between the vodka brand and the WWE star on its body.

“Lil’ something we’ve been working on…proud to announce my role as a spokesperson/sponsored athlete with Wheatley American Vodka! (Love the door too 🇺🇸 🐾 …) @WWE @TKOGrp

Apart from his outside venture, Cody Rhodes has a huge opportunity ahead of him to take his star power to the next level with his high-stakes title opportunity against the current poster boy of WWE, Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40.

Moreover, Reigns is backed by his powerful cousin, The Rock and The Bloodline in his war against Rhodes and his own ally, Seth Rollins. Both sides are set to confront each other on tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown to give more clarity on the challenge laid out by The Rock last week for an explosive tag team match on WrestleMania 40 Night 1.

What are your thoughts on Cody Rhodes bagging the role of a sponsored athlete for the Vodka brand? Moreover, will he and Seth accept the challenge to face The Rock and Roman Reigns? Sound off in the comments!
