Despite The Young Bucks facing a significant loss at AEW Revolution last week, recent developments indicate a noteworthy shift in the dynamics within All Elite Wrestling. The introduction of Kazuchika Okada to AEW and his alignment with The Elite suggests a change in the landscape. Additionally, there are discussions about the potential removal of Kenny Omega and Adam Page from The Elite faction.

During this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson fulfilled their promise of a game-changing announcement. After reflecting on their recent loss to Sting and Darby Allin at AEW Revolution, where they bid farewell to The Icon in a losing effort, the brothers announced their intention to once again pursue the AEW tag titles.

In an unforeseen development, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson proceeded to mete out significant consequences for their fellow Elite faction members, Adam Page and Kenny Omega. Tensions reached a boiling point when AEW Triple Crown champion Eddie Kingston confronted the AEW Executive Vice Presidents, sparking a heated brawl.

Adding to the unexpected events, former NJPW star Kazuchika Okada made his highly anticipated AEW debut. Initially appearing as if he came to Eddie Kingston’s aid, Okada surprised everyone by delivering a Rainmaker to Kingston and declaring his allegiance to The Bucks.

Following the segment, AEW shared an exclusive video on social media featuring the Young Bucks explaining their actions. The video begins with the Jackson brothers, embodying their Executive Vice President personas, sarcastically stating that they had to make a challenging decision as Kazuchika Okada walks behind them. With both Omega and Page absent, the Bucks explained that the group must move forward without them. They then hailed Okada as the biggest signing in the company’s five-year history.

”The guy back here, we’re talking about movie star good looks [and] rock star charisma. He’s just so charming and so humble. You would never know that he’s the greatest wrestler of all time just by looking, because he’s so sweet. He’s a sweetheart. He’s a good kid.”

According to the brothers, they facilitated Okada’s connection with their agent, Barry Bloom, contributing to the former NJPW star’s already considerable wealth. After further praising Okada, Matt circled back to the topic of Omega and Page, expressing his dislike for having to decide to remove them but hoping they understood the decision from a business perspective.

Kazuchika Okada has been added to the AEW roster already. The upcoming weeks will reveal how AEW plans to book Kazuchika Okada, leaving fans eager to see what Tony Khan’s company can achieve with The Rainmaker in various capacities.
