The stacked up card for AEW Dynamite showcased a lot of action throughout the show. Coming out of a very successful AEW Revolution 2024, the season premiere of Dynamite had millions around the world excited.

While AEW had a massive night in Greensboro this past weekend, the EVPs of AEW, The Young Bucks, didn’t enjoy their time on the show. The duo challenged Darby Allin and Sting for the AEW World Tag Team Championships in the latter’s last match ever at the show. However, the EVPs of AEW couldn’t clinch a victory at the pay-per-view.

On the 3/6 episode of AEW Dynamite, a video package was featured revisiting Sting’s last match before the Young Bucks came out ahead of their massive announcement. The duo then blamed Sting for bringing his sons and other friends to cheat and win against the Young Bucks.

The duo addressed Hangman Page attacking two officials during his match at Revolution and punished him by suspending him indefinitely without pay as their first announcement. Following that, the duo then addressed Kenny Omega’s absence, which was due to his health, and fired him for not coming to work.

Eddie Kingston then came out to make things right before the Young Bucks attacked him. However, things turned around when Kazuchika Okada made a surprising appearance to even the odds and shock the world. However, little did anyone know, the Rainmaker attacked Kingston when the Young Bucks announced Okada as the newest member of AEW.
