AEW Revolution will always be remembered as the sight where one of the greatest in-ring careers of all time came to its conclusion, as The Icon Sting took the final bow from professional wrestling.

The Stinger, alongside his trusted ally Darby Allin defended their AEW World Tag Team titles against Nicholas and Matthew Jackson, The Young Bucks in the main event of the exciting pay-per-view.

Sting left everything inside the squared circle on his last night and put in a valiant effort that led his team to victory in front of his friends and family, going out as a champion on one of the most emotional nights of his entire career.

The Franchise of WCW took to X to release his first statement since his retirement that night. He mentioned that it was a memorable night that he would never forget and thanked everyone who made it possible for him.
