The Rock Reflects on Purchasing House for UFC Star Who Had $7 In His Bank Account

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s name is known far and wide for being one of the biggest and most influential stars in the pro wrestling business, but he is also known for being one of the nicest human beings on the planet. He once helped out a UFC star by buying him a house and he has recently reflected on his deed.

Last year, Zimbabwe-born mixed martial arts fighter Themba Gorimbo won his first UFC fight back in May by beating Takashi Sato. Following his win, Gorimbo revealed that he had $7 in his bank account before stepping into the octagon.

Touched by his story, The Rock ended up meeting Gorimbo and bought new house for the UFC star. A Twitter account recently shared a heartwarming throwback video featuring The Rock presenting a house to Gormibo. The Hollywood megastar responded to the post, praising the UFC star as an exceptional human and an inspiring figure.

The Rock also vowed to give meaning to fans’ lives ahead of his return on Friday Night SmackDown this week. Nonetheless, fans will always appreciate The Rock for all the good things he has done over the years and that is all that matters.
