Seven Bucks Productions is in the process of developing a biopic centered around the life of wrestling legend Ric Flair.

According to The Wrap, the project is set to be produced by The Rock along with Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia, in collaboration with Misher Films’ Kevin Misher. Notably, Misher and Seven Bucks Productions previously collaborated on “Fighting With My Family,” a film based on the life of Saraya, better known as WWE’s Paige.

Expressing his admiration for Ric Flair, Johnson stated, “As a kid who grew up in professional wrestling, I idolized, ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair. He was a hero to me.”

Johnson went on to mention Flair’s monumental impact on the wrestling industry and his unparalleled ability to redefine the game. He emphasized the personal significance of the project and the eagerness to share Flair’s remarkable story with audiences.

Ric Flair, renowned for his illustrious career spanning decades, holds the distinction of being a 16-time World Champion. Currently associated with AEW, Flair’s presence continues to captivate audiences, particularly alongside fellow wrestling icon Sting, who is slated to compete in his final match at AEW Revolution.

Flair himself had hinted at the possibility of a movie about his life back in October, and now, with Seven Bucks Productions at the helm, fans can anticipate an immersive portrayal of one of wrestling’s most iconic figures.
