AEW President Tony Khan has a ton of passion for the business and has been the driving force behind most of AEW’s changes over the past five years. AEW Dynamite celebrated its 200th episode last year and Khan has now denied self-promotion in the ‘Thank You Tony Khan’ graphic.

The 200th episode of AEW Dynamite took place back on August 2nd, 2023 and it featured many memorable moments. This included MJF and Adam Cole setting up their AEW World Title clash at All In, as well as Hikaru Shida winning the AEW Women’s Championship.

A user on Twitter uploaded a photo of the 200th episode of Dynamite which featured the ‘Thank You Tony Khan’ graphic and claimed that when WWE hits milestones they thank the fans, while when Tony Khan hits milestones he thanks himself.

”Tony Khan putting up a Thank You Tony Khan graphic is the billionaire equivalent of Michael Scott buying himself the Worlds Greatest Boss Mug. When WWE hits milestones they thank the fans. When Tony hits milestones he thanks himself.”

The AEW President saw this comment and couldn’t help but respond to it, as he revealed that it was a surprise from the AEW crew, which he genuinely appreciated.

”It was a surprise from the crew after the live 200th episode of Dynamite. It was a nice moment and unexpected. I appreciated it very much.”

AEW is currently heading towards the Revolution pay-per-view, which will take place in March and fans feel Tony Khan should focus more on that than responding to Twitter accounts.
