As previously mentioned, Sammy Guevara faced off against Jeff Hardy in a singles match during this week’s AEW Rampage tapings. Unfortunately, the match raised concerns about Hardy potentially suffering a concussion, as Guevara’s knee landed on Hardy’s face during the bout.

According to Sean Ross Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, it was reported that the initial fear was Jeff Hardy suffered a broken nose but now they are conducting tests for a concussion.

”The Jeff Hardy injury on AEW Dynamite happened on a shooting star press attempt from Sammy Guevara. We’re told the fear initially was a broken nose, and they’d be doing concussion tests.”
