Penta El Zero Miedo has been one of the mainstays of AEW’s tag team division alongside his brother Rey Fenix, but both of them have become injury-prone over the past few years. Unfortunately, Penta appears to have sustained a shoulder injury during a recent show.

During the Mexican Promotion Más Lucha’s most recent event, Penta El Zero Miedo teamed up with Makabre in a tag team match against Metalik and Rey Tritón as part of a tournament semifinal.

However, Más Lucha took to Twitter and announced that Penta El Zero Miedo and Makabre lost the match, adding that Penta suffered a shoulder injury during the bout. Photos provided showed Penta clutching his shoulder while making his way to the back.

”In the semifinal fight Metalik and Rey Tritón beat Makabre and Pentagón Jr who was injured in his shoulder.”

Rey Fenix is already currently out of action due to injury and with Penta’s potential injury, the Lucha Brothers’ time in AEW does not look good right now. We will have to wait and see the severity of Penta’s injury, as he might be out for a while.
