Sting has been a mainstay of AEW since his debut in December 2020 and he will be retiring at AEW Revolution this year. Ahead of his retirement match, Sting has been honored with an incredible lifetime achievement award.

Sting will be ending his in-ring career at AEW Revolution and this has resulted in the pay-per-view selling tickets like hotcakes. The Icon’s legendary career is one worth celebrating and therefore it’s no surprise he is still winning awards even now.

Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s official Twitter account took to the social media site and announced that Sting has been presented with the Stanley Weston Award for Lifetime Achievement in pro wrestling, which is their highest honor.

”With his legendary, storied career coming to a close at @AEW Revolution, we are pleased to present @Sting with the Stanley Weston Award for Lifetime Achievement in pro wrestling—our magazine’s highest honor. Congrats on an incredible career, Stinger!”
