Steph De Lander worked under the name Persia Pirotta in WWE but she was eventually released. She has been a major star in the indies over the past year and this has made her confident about the fact that WWE will eventually give her a new offer.

Steph De Lander was released from WWE back in 2022 and she used the time since then to become a major star in the Indies thanks to her partnership with ex-WWE star Matt Cardona.

While speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Steph De Lander revealed her ultimate goal of returning to WWE, despite the setback of her release in 2022. In a bold move, she reached out to WWE’s Head Coach & VP of Talent Development Matt Bloom, emphasizing her determination to regain her spot.

“I think that’s definitely the end goal, but it’s not like I’m rushing to get there. And I think when I again, when I had that mentality switch, that’s when things started coming together for me too.

With time, Steph De Lander found acceptance and embraced a new path following her release from NXT. Despite the setback, De Lander is confident that her meteoric rise on the indie stage will eventually lead to a new offer from WWE.

“The end result will be I be getting new interest from WWE and from elsewhere, which I have, because of how hot our act is.”

Steph De Lander has proven that the independent circuit is a remarkable way to make living in the world of professional wrestling now. We will have to wait and see if she will return to WWE somewhere down the line.
