Kofi Kingston is certainly a true veteran in the pro wrestling world, having worked in WWE for several years. He also had a big match on RAW this week and ended up getting brutally assaulted. Now, Kingston underwent a medical evaluation following the assault.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Kofi Kingston faced off against Ludwig Kaiser, showcasing incredible strength in their match. Unfortunately, it concluded in a double countout as neither could re-enter the ring in time.

After the match, Kingston tried a suicide dive on Kaiser, who countered with a thumb to the eye. Kaiser then launched a vicious assault, hurling an office chair at Kingston’s face, executing a running dropkick to Kingston’s head while he lay on the steel steps, and causing chaos at ringside.

The company’s official Instagram account posted a video of Kingston, showing him limping while receiving assistance from the medical staff. The caption mentioned that Kofi Kingston was undergoing evaluation by the medical team.

”After a brutal beatdown at the hands of @wwe_kaiser, @truekofi is currently being evaluated by WWE medical staff.”

Ludwig Kaiser’s actions are a direct result of Kofi Kingston accidentally injuring Giovanni Vinci on last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. It was also noted that Vinci will be out of action for few weeks. Kingston will likely be off WWE television for a while to sell the brutal assault, so we’ll have to see how their storyline progresses till then.

What do you think of this brutal assault unleashed on Kofi Kingston? Do you feel WWE should do better with Kingston? Let us know in the comments section below!
