WWE has a ton of talented people in NXT, and they lost an incredible worker this week. Tyler Bate bid NXT farewell, and it was a quiet exit, but his entry onto the blue brand is already making waves.

During the January 5th episode of WWE SmackDown WWE fans saw the return of AOP. That was not good news for Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits. Fans also saw the SmackDown debut of Tyler Bate, and he isn’t going anywhere.

Pretty Deadly was scheduled to face Butch this week on SmackDown, but Butch lacked a partner for the match. Despite no announced partner, the match was booked for SmackDown’s New Year’s Revolution episode, and fans were in for an unexpected twist regarding Butch’s teammate.

Butch selected Tyler Bate as his partner. That appearance of the NXT Superstar on SmackDown came as a big surprise. The Big Strong Boi got right to action, and impressed with his teamwork with Butch. The two put on an amazing match, as 4 UK representatives had a chance to shine on SmackDown.

In the end, Tyler Bate isn’t going anywhere. F4W Online confirmed that Bate is now on the SmackDown roster. This is great news for him, because Bate has a ton of potential, and he’s also an incredible wrestler.

Tyler Bate picked up the win this week on SmackDown, and it’s anyone’s guess how far that momentum will go. He certainly got off to a great start on January 5th.
