The Authors of Pain are gearing up for their official return to WWE, and it looks like the wrestling world won’t have to wait long to see them back in action.

Following their release from WWE in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Authors of Pain have been the subject of speculation and rumors surrounding their potential return to the company. Wrestling fans have been eagerly awaiting for their comeback, and it seems the wait is almost over.

After their teaser appearance during Karrion Kross promo on the December 22, 2023 episode of Smackdown, Ringside News has received word that the Authors of Pain, along with their manager Paul Ellering, will make their official return on the New Year’s Revolution episode of the show, scheduled for January 5, 2024.

Back in October, Ringside News first broke the news of their return after speaking to a tenured member of the WWE creative team about AOP and Paul Ellering. At the time of publish, we confirmed that they have signed with the company and they were working on plans for their return to the company.
