MJF has honed his craft as a pro wrestler over the years, as his dedication to his role is truly second to none for many fans. He is the AEW World Champion right now and has already made history in the company. That said, Cody Rhodes believes MJF will make his way to WWE one day.

The Salt of the Earth previously revealed that he will go where the money is after his current AEW contract ends in 2023. MJF even said that there will be a bidding war for him in 2024.

MJF turned his current AEW contract situation into a television storyline. The AEW World Champion has never failed to make several WWE references, including references to Nick Khan, Triple H and Vince McMahon.

While speaking with Peter Rosenburg, Cody Rhodes was asked about MJF making his way to WWE. The American Nightmare stated that he believes The Salt of The Earth will eventually jump ship to WWE.

“I think one day you will see MJF in WWE. I think, one thing I’m really proud of him for is, for those who don’t know, MJF was one of my recruits. Probably the one I’m the most excited about just because [of] his potential, his personality; his overall professionalism is beaming. One thing I’m proud of him doing is, if you notice he’s put on a lot of muscle and he’s put it on safely over the last year and a half.

And when he does make that jump, and I don’t know when that is, if he makes the jump. But if he comes to WWE he’ll have to stand across from guys like Drew McIntyre, you have to stand across from guys like Omos. Or, gosh, Brock Lesnar.”

There is also a strong indication that MJF could be leaving AEW after his contract expires. Even Cody Rhodes previously stated that MJF can be big star in WWE. MJF also told WWE talent that he is looking forward to joining the company in 2024. Regardless, it remains to be seen what MJF will do in the end.
