MJF has established himself as one of the best heels in the modern-day pro wrestling world. It took him barely any time to cement himself as one of the top stars in AEW. It seems MJF might be jumping ship eventually.

The Salt of the Earth is dedicated to his character as he never breaks kayfabe, inside or outside the squared circle. His dedication to his credit has won him over with fans who simply love to hate him.

While speaking to UPI, MJF was asked where he would leave AEW to go for another company after his contract expires. MJF made it clear that money is what matters to him first and foremost, so he will go where the money is.

“I didn’t get into this sport to make friends. I got in it to make money, and MJF goes where the money is at. Now, if you’re willing to fork it over, I’m willing to play ball, and I’m willing to be the most important person you have in your entire roster. When my contract is up in 2024, you can bet your sweet bottom dollar I’m going to go wherever the most money is going to be awarded to me. That’s just how I operate. I’m a businessman first. Always will be.”

This isn’t the first time MJF teased jumping ship to WWE either. MJF is set to square off against Darby Allin at AEW Full Gear on November 13th. It remains to be seen whether he will win the match or not.
