Jay Briscoe was tragically involved in a fatal car accident on January 17th. The Delaware State Police confirmed that another driver crossed the center line and collided with his vehicle head-on. His brother Mark Briscoe carries on his legacy but it is clear he is still grieving Jay Briscoe’s loss. That said, AEW made a massive blunder on social media regarding Mark Briscoe’s name.

AEW star Mark Briscoe made headlines recently when he publicly called out the “WWE on FOX” social media account for appropriating The Briscoes’ iconic “DEM BOYZ” term to describe Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits. He even tagged Triple H to fix the matter.

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was a night to be remembered as the Continental Classic Tournament continued. Mark Briscoe squared off against Jay White in a singles match as part of the tournament.

However, AEW’s official Twitter account made a huge blunder as they named Mark Briscoe as his late brother Jay Briscoe. Naturally, this was a huge botch on AEW’s part and fans rightfully called them out on it.

For what it’s worth, Mark Briscoe unveiled the motivation behind his outburst, stating that he was still mourning the death of his brother. Regardless, it has been rough week for Mark Briscoe and we hope he doesn’t have to be reminded of his brother’s demise in such a way ever again.

What’s your opinion on this massive botch by the AEW social media team? Do you feel Mark Briscoe will give a similar outrage after what he did on the ‘WWE on Fox’ post? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
