Seth Rollins is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and one of the best pro wrestlers on the planet right now, but he had humble beginnings as well. He is currently feuding with CM Punk and now a former WWE Superstar stated that Rollins owes his career to CM Punk.

CM Punk’s return at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event has already greatly increased WWE’s stock considering the records he broke after his return. Seth Rollins appeared to be enraged after CM Punk’s Survivor Series return.

It was later said that Rollins was looking for Punk backstage, but then it was reported that it was all an angle. Seth Rollins also took multiple shots at CM Punk during WWE Live Events last week.

They would finally engage in a promo battle on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, where Rollins spoke his mind to Punk and even admitted that he hated him and stated that Punk should stop calling WWE his home.

While speaking on the Gigantic Pop podcast, former WWE Superstar Matt Morgan talked about the promo and noted that The Best in the World has the right to call WWE his home, while adding that Seth Rollins owes his entire WWE career to CM Punk, as Punk paved the way for talent like Rollins to even make it to WWE.

“With respect to Seth, cause Seth is a better worker than Punk in the ring, that doesn’t give him, 20 years from now, he will not have a bigger name in this business, with respect, than CM Punk will. I’m sorry. He can win 50 more championships, he will not have a bigger name [than CM Punk]. And I hate saying that because I love him and I love his wife, Becky, both personally. I think the world but sorry, not in a million years will he have a bigger impact on this business than CM Punk.

Without CM Punk, Seth Rollins, you ain’t wrestling right now. Brother, I hate to break that news to you. Guys like you weren’t even a blip on Vince McMahon’s a**. Yes, you’re taller than the rest of the good workers and in-ring five-star generals but at the same time, it’s still, like I said, being the world’s tallest short person according to Vince McMahon. Because Vince likes big jacked guys. And I’m sorry to say, and maybe Seth doesn’t want to hear this, Punk is the one that broke that damn wall down. People need to give him respect for it. All your favorite indie talents are in the WWE today because of CM Punk.”

WWE is also aware that Seth Rollins won’t be holding back his feelings about CM Punk in their feud. We will have to wait and see how WWE will continue to book their feud in the coming weeks.
