Where Things Stand With Deonna Purrazzo’s Upcoming Free Agency Status

Impact Wrestling continues its operations, acquiring stars as deemed necessary. They weren’t able to get CM Punk to come in, but they have more stars that could ink deals. However, a decision regarding Deonna Purrazzo appears to be pending.

Deonna Purrazzo maintains her position at the helm of the Knockouts Division as a former champion. Looking ahead, 2024 holds the potential for significant developments in her career. As we previously reported, she is set to be a free agent next year.

Behind Fightful’s paywall during a Q&A session, Sean Sapp highlighted that Deonna Purrazzo is slated to enter free agency at the onset of 2024, so WWE or AEW may be a possibility. That being said, TNA Wrestling would like to keep her around.

“To the best of my knowledge she has the ability to talk to AEW or WWE. I don’t know if she has. I believe that Impact intends to make an offer. If I were AEW or WWE, both, I would try to sign Deonna Purrazzo.“

Deonna Purrazzo has friends in AEW and WWE. Chelsea Green has her back in WWE, and she is known for making her opinions known. Triple H saw something in Deonna years ago, and odds are, she is still on his radar.
