The latest episode of Monday Night Raw featured lot of key moments. One of which was CM Punk signing with the red brand and announcing that he would be a part of Royal Rumble 2024. There was one promo in particular with Seth Rollins and CM Punk, which puzzled viewers as it had no particular producer listed.

While many thought that it was an error on WWE’s part to not include the key producer, the reason behind the absence of a credit is completely different. As it turns out, no particular credit was warranted.

Usually, most WWE segments get a credited producer, regardless of whether it is a match or a promo. However, whenever there are no producer credits, that is when they aren’t needed to produce the segment. In a standard arrangement, producers are physically present at WWE backstage, communicating the set of actions needed to achieve the goal.

In segments where that isn’t needed, WWE does not designate a producer for them. This is the case with the CM Punk and Seth Rollins segment on the Monday Night Raw episode. This doesn’t mean that the promo wasn’t scripted; it just means that no special actions were required for that promo.
