CM Punk’s Cryptic Hint Fuels Speculation of WWE NXT Deadline Cameo

CM Punk’s comeback at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event sent shockwaves across the world of professional wrestling, which was just the beginning as he already appeared on Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown since his return. Interestingly enough, Punk just dropped a hint that he might appear at NXT Deadline.

CM Punk’s latest appearance on Friday Night SmackDown was his first appearance on the blue brand in almost 10 years, so it was definitely a huge deal for fans all over the world. He ended up cutting a promo that was truly what fans expected from The Second City Saint.

Ever the teaser, CM Punk took to his Instagram story and uploaded a photo of himself in front of the new WWE Headquarters. CM Punk stated that he missed his flight and woke up in Bridgeport, asking if there was anything to do. He also tagged NXT for good measure, seemingly teasing at an appearance at NXT Deadline.

”Missed my flight today. Woke up in Bridgeport. Anything to do here?”

We will have to wait and see whether The Second City Saint will make his appearance at NXT Deadline. He won’t be the only surprise as WWE even has special return planned for the event for good measure.
